X2 38 years at Stelco on shifts. 36 was 8 hour shifts, then they put us on 12's, it killed me. I couldn't sleep at the best of times. Being a crane operator and doing a 12 hour night shift put others on the ground in danger because I only had a couple hours sleep at best. Thats what made me retire. Was falling asleep at the controls, not good. I didn't go to work to kill my work mates. I had to make the big decision, getting older and no sleep, time to hang up your hat. I tell you you never get used to it, unless you are different. Mite be alright if your on the ground working and you don't put others at risk. Siting in a cab (box) for 12 hours, picture yourself siting in your closet for 12 hours with no sleep. Congrats on your new job Gerritt, Good luck man.

I blame a lot of this horrible stuff on some of those crazy violent video games they have out. Have you ever seen the look on a kids face playing those things. They should be banned. This stuff never happened when I was a kid. Some kids now a days, are a different breed. Just look at kids today, face stuck in their cel phones, brain stuck in cyber space. Horrible, just little innocent baby's murdered. I feel for those parents.

It's very fortunate that people like your selves volunteer and do so much for others to enjoy. But it just erks me to see others high-jack your efforts. But one day eyes will open when it's to late. The people that run this country walk around with blinkers on and make excuses. Sad Sad Sad

If you would like to know, it was a Lake Ont. charter captain that proposed the 5 down to 2 Rainbow Trout and he is a Spoonpuller member. You can go on and talk about floaters, it happens in all species. But if we don't try something, we mite as-well sell our rods and take up golf. Tell me, who would or can eat 5 Big Lake O Rainbow every day.

It's only time Wayne when the boys will set nets there when Nipissing is empty Just what I was thinking Gerritt. Good for you Capt, but I think for all your efforts, someone is netting in your back pocket. I just hope our money that goes into stocking, doesn't end up in Nipissing. I don't support any netting, legal or not! Makes me laugh when they have these meetings, (they) not saying, when they leave the meeting out the back door,(I guess we pulled the wool over their eyes) and go on their LEGAL netting WAY Man are we naive You want prof, just look at the condition of Nipissing now,(they) not saying, have been helping out for years. OH, I'm sorry, I'm Naive

I stopped going years ago Bob. Our group spent hundreds of dollars their and couldn't keep 1 Walleye for a fry. The only fry we had was dink Perch and Sunfish. The Walleye we caught had to be released and at the end of the road you now who was netting them and loading them into refers. Got that from the lodge owner. Sad for the tourist industry. But that's OK Bob, our government has lots of money to throw out the window and burn , I hope they got lots to pay welfare and unemployment.

I feel for the tourist industry around Nippissing. Blame who! Won't say any more.

Just slow down in the winter, use your head. Winter tires will give some, a false scents of security, some will think they can drive like it was summer. Winter tires only make people take more chances. It's like the guy that owns a 4X4, they think they will never get stuck

I never smoked but a friend told me he put 5 old butts in a pill bottle and filled it with water, put the cap on and giver a shake. He put it in his pocket, every time he felt the craving, he opened the bottle and stuck his finger in and shoved some of the juice up his nose. Didn't take long for him to quite. Or it could have been the quadruple bypass they did when they opened his guys up. Good luck Rich. All the money you spent on that crap you could be driving a new ProV Lund. Just a thought Stick to it Rich

I use a double line aquarium air pump I bought at Big Al's, 1 hose in each 5 gallon pail. When I travel, I plug it in my power box that you use to boost your car. Home air pumps are quieter. For your boat you need a inverter for your lighter socket,or take your booster box.
