  1. Nice King, thanks for the report.
  2. Some real nice bass you guys got. Well done! The same thing happened to me on the Long Weekend with a loon. Never seen it before but it happened twice. First you think it s a fish and it looks huge. Kind of scared me the first time. Where did you get that tow rope with the splitter? Whats the yellow plastic bait you were using?
  3. nice bit of engineering there, whats the red-zone 50"+ interesting guard on your bench as well
  4. I enjoyed his work with Muddy Watters.
  5. That fire map real eye opener, had no idea
  6. There was speculation in the spring about the effect winter kill might have on shallow reservoirs and lakes. Places like Mountsberg, Pusclinch and Guelph Lake were mentioned. Has anyone been fishing these lakes or others and noticed a big drop off in the quality of the fishing from last year?
  7. Impressive Pike, glad you had a successful trip
  8. Even more impressive landing it with no net in a float tube. Nicely done.
  9. Its not unlike when Target came. People unrealistically expect the same prices/experience as when they shop in the US. I visited the Cabelas Dundee store last fall. I thought the prices were high there too. Nice selection, big hunting section, good restaurant but not many deals in the main store. Most of the stuff I bought was clearance priced in the Bargain Cave.
  10. Congrats Brian well done
  11. Nice underwater shots.
  12. Last Sunday I went out off PC with a 2 boat group. Our boat went 1 for 2. The fish below was caught on a blue green spoon 40 down in 200 FOW on a dipsey. The lost fish was on the downrigger. The other boat did well. I think they caught 6 or 8 fish. 3 bows- 8lbs, a couple of shakers and a smaller chinook I think. I think all the bows were on Lead Core 500ft back. We spoke to a large charter boat at the dock they were out in the morning and got 4 bows. I fished off Bronte last night 5 -930. We marked more fish and bait in shallower water but got no hits. Went out a week and a half ago off Bronte as well same results-nothing. We checked the temps with a fish hawk probe that gives you readings every 5 ft. It said the near bottom temp was 39 and the temps closer to the surface was 51.
  13. Nicely done. Thanks for the report. I will give that swim bait a try.

  22. you guys are really getting your money's worth out of the new boat
  23. Sometimes you think you are saving money and your not...I have a auto mechanic buddy that fixes outboard motors on the side. Great guy, who is always willing to help. He said he would fix an oil leak in the lower end on an older 6hp for me. Unfortunately, he broke a part taking it apart- $130 plus tax for the part. I got the part he told me that the parts guy ordered the wrong part. I brought the lower unit to the parts guy. He says it doesn't fit because the threads were damaged when the old part was removed. Now I need a new housing-used $195 plus tax. Now I'm up to $400 in parts and a motor thats in pcs and has been in 2 shops for 6 weeks. I should have taken it to a real shop in the first place.
  24. Nice largie, did you get any on topwater
