  3. B once I hooked 4 feet of evestrough full of mud, this mother was heavy, I also hooked onto a rock, this thing was covered in fossils and my pearl got in one of the holes! I lost it in the snow after a week!!!! Who know how many millennium it had been down there. It went back. back then if you took beer out you paid for it to the operator to bring it out, IF you didn't bring back very cap and bottle you lost you deposit!! Well a cap dropped in 46 FOW! I spent and hour witha magnet and eventually caught it, hei it was about $5 back then!! alway carried a spare cap after that
  4. B, in my early days of ice fishing on Simcoe that gag was pulled once a night! I've pulled more crap out of Simcoe that you can shake a stick at! Fell for it a few times
  5. glad you're ok, that is all that matters now. I have a feeling this is a distracted driving incident. Driving to a quarry for a pick up. Seen it many times up that way. maybe they should check his phone records!!! I had a close call Friday, no speed involved, just down the street I see car parked on the side of the road maybe 40 feet ahead of me, I was only doing about 20 as I had just turned left. Ten feet from him he decides to make a U turn, I got his attention and sure enough he was on the phone when he turned his head towards me!!!!!! I see a ton of people on the phone every single day, I drive from Woody to Markham and back, I hear reports come in for York and they only catch few hundreds In a week or those blitz days!!!
  6. Out fish her again and you'll be using the guest room!
  7. In 15 minutes we went through 2 rounds of hail and heavy rain. Really sunny right now! she can sure give it away when we are going to prepare to vote!
  8. Terry is amazing, he does it ALL, boat, anchor and net , who can expect more. I've done that, who could ask for more!
  9. I see a "Crown" I had a teacher (typography) in '72, I also liked photography and took pictures of his wedding! My payment was a 1964 Crown, still have it! also collected the miniature ones after that! Nice place, YOU have to learn how to outfish Monique lol.You can always blame " I was handling the boat" and not fishing.
  10. Bruce has many talents and probably does all faiths. Strubs are the best.
  11. Happy reading http://www.torontosun.com/2017/03/05/ontarios-hydro-mess-sees-power-producer-paid-to-sit-idle-ndp-mpp
  12. Use the Y knot! Just pulling you leg.
  13. A lot have, save now to pay a lot later and they get re-elected. If they pass the legislation next week it will be law and no turning back, we are stuck with it. Correct me if I'm wrong. I have known a few people who put a lot on their mortgage and in the long run lost it! My dad used to say "wear your shoe, how it fits, not too tight; but not too loose". Followed his advice and it does work.
  14. I wrote these jokers when they announced their reduction plan and asked "what happens after 4 years". NOT a peep put of them! MY MMP, Transpotattion paid 19 mil for trusses that were put upside down!
  15. Hope they get wiped off the map. Instead of paying debt off they increase it. This is a real bright move when the head boy is making 4 million a year. You want to read some real money waste read the action plan on climate change.
  16. You have to have a chat with Roloff about chasing beaver
  17. And I bought some of those flowers for $12 and went to a huge lunch with the troops(18 with the kids, Mother's day and the boss' birthday. Good haul B.
  18. They found it, one less thing to worry about! But the water is high!
  19. many years ago we had a pair in an apple tree about 5 feet off the ground. THey built and no problems. Our kids love seeing the mother on the nest and she didn't do anything. We actually sat by the tree. I went out one day and she wasn't on the nest so I did some things and as I was getting close to the tree, I got a "hit" on my head brushed it off and saw blood, and this robin flying around! I though it was a rock thrown by kids. It was the mother! Once the nest was empty it came down. MY kids have had them in a hNging flower pot (she went to water it and it came out in full force, no more hanging baskets) and on the porch light. Nature is what it is.
  20. Not me, we have lots of water in woody! Enjoy yourself!
  21. Cliff and I are in the same boat recycle whatever we can. There is a woman moving this weekend across the street and she has put more stuff on the curb than you can imagine and it will rot! Why not call a habitat for humanity or similar places. Brainlees IMO? Some one took a wicker chair and left four high back dining room chairs! Again, we are not reusing enough!
  22. I'm not a tree hugger by any means but why send it to a land fill for the next 50 years or so? Can't it be recycled in any way? I had a couch to get rid of and I took it apart for garbage day, springs got taken, some wood I used and the cloth went to the garbage which have decomposed hopefully! Canada is way too extravagant on what we throw out when there is need elsewhere. many years ago when we had our first daughter we were asked to participate in a formula study. All delivered at home as long as we reported how our daughter was handling it, it was perfect! And we got cases of it. When she was off of it they we asking for a famine donation in Africa. I asked it they would take the cases I had (no expiry date) and ship it over to them. NO we need cash! Sorry for asking!
  23. Lucas, I learned quick, storage is the key and use premium gas only! like I said some people don't know and just go buy another. I see stuff that can be used if only people would call and have it picked up , but most of the time it's landfill. So sad. I bought my first snowblower in 1989 and it still looks and runs like new. I'm now on a project to unplug a inkjet printer, if I fail I'll recycle it, if it works I will have two printers. But I will have another learning g curve undear my belt.
