  9. I have a '95 have had it for 7 years great car but it does have it's problems, I found elecrical mostly, rear wiper, door lock. and it developed an oil leak in the main seal, they tell me and it's expensive to fix I hear. Overall it runs fine, I've replaced the starter and battery and the steering damper twice. Great in weather like today no problems at all.
  10. Sorry Clamp-it, on the web site there is a link to "movies and pictures" that show the machine in trials. I saw it carrying 5 people. Irish, according to Harry, he has sent information to manufactures but so far no taker.
  11. I just saw this on the Discovery Channel, what an amazing machine. Great toy for those that have it all. According to Harry Hainey it's for safety. The man is very mechanically inclined to say the least. http://www.snow-boat.com/sb/
  12. Hope all goes well, we're all here for you.
  13. Never seen ours up close, we have to go to the box and get our own, but she does get mixed up sometimes and shifts the mail one box over. It's great I go deliver to my neigbour and a few minutes later one comes to me with my mail. I wish they would start stealing the "bills" and pay them.
  14. Thanks Bob now I have ammunition and she will be
  15. I'm having a contriversy with one of our writers (tourism) about a hovercraft to Peele Island. Has anyone seen used it and if so does it have a regular schudule? Thanks for your help
  16. At 2 feet, it makes a great icefishing rod, have made two already.
  17. HH, if there's herring around where your going bring "pearls" they have them at the Hwy robbery store on the 400. White ones do the trick. Tie one about 8 inches to a foot back of a Swidish Pimple and jig! You won't be sorry. Good luck
  18. Uncle Ted just recently upped his rates for services so I'm sure it's all covered and he may be even making a profit on that $.
  19. Hope your problems are solved soon, not fun not having a computer these days. Not to rain on anyone's parade but MACs have come a long, long way. they can now run microsoft programs and have no problems with them at all. The new iMAC is amazing. I run OS X for graphics and also Office 2004 which includes Entourage e-mail service on my G4. My kids (4) all had PC Hp and stuff but when they "went" I had a chance to pick up MACs (G4s) at work for next to nothing, ($50) and now they all have one (I have two) and love them. They update themselves if you let them, which I do frequently. I truly injoy the music on mine which plays in the background, the radio has 294 streams and I can even pick up air traffic control on any airport I chose. I've actually run wiring out to my yard and when I'm out there I just turn on the MAC pick what kind of music I/we want to listen to and away it goes. Definetly will get an iMAC when the time comes.
  20. Same here Lew. My daughter is in LA shooting Canadian Tire TV spots and she ribs me evry three hours or so about the sunshine.Hey cliffe how come they left you behind?
  21. Just got in from cleaning my driveway left work Yonge and Eglinton at 5, was at Pinevalley and Hwy 7 at 6:05 (6 km from home). Lighting was really bright, thought it was a tranformer blowing up, going nowhere fast turned around, back down to Steels West, got home at 7:45. Never buy a home that you have to go up steep hills, doesn't matter what road you take. I had no problems as I drive a 4x4 Jeep but any vans or cars, they were done and everyone was left behind them. Drive safe. It's till coming down up here.
  22. I'm with you HH, never speed; the last ime I spoke to a cop when I was in my car was 1973. I live nextdoor to one for many years but all he came over for was to drink my home-made wine.
