  1. Yes, just wire it to something. I've seen those squirrels take the trap with them!! This would be my method to get them for sure. The pellet gun would be tough. They don't sit still long enough to get a shot! S.
  2. You can protect your property from whatever critters are doing it harm, and that pellet gun would work fine as long as they are close enough. Less than 20yds. S.
  3. Im ok with spearing, and in some cases even poaching, but doing it, and dumping the fish is garbage, and someone needs a good slap up side the head for it....i dont care what race, religion, or colour they are! S.
  4. I been running straight 4lb berkely sensation this season. Same thing, have to re-tie often if your catching lots of fish. Its just how it is. The sensation casts really good, the reason I like it. S.
  5. Ha...me too!! S.
  6. Glad ya's had a good time. I was out with my son sat/sun evening, and today with my GF. I kept an eye out for ya, but there werent many people around us! S.
  7. I fished out of an exact rig as irish posted last week. Good solid boat, deep, andd stable, but the bench seats bug me....hard to find a plain jane open floor tiller with no benches. S.
  8. I have a pair of irish setters as well that I like. They're lower cut, but great for hiking/fishing, and my feet havent been wet yet. You wont be walking thru deep puddles, or wading in them, but they are comfy and dry. I think they are called "hunt". S.
  9. A buddy of mine just sold a 16ft lund SSV with 30 yammy tiller for $3500, so they're out there. Consoles are just a waste of space. Nothing like the wide open space and total control in one hand of a tiller anyways S.
  10. I worked, and fished every day so far. Fishing all day tomorrow too. Eyes and crappies are on fire! S.
  11. Yeah, the right thing to do is actually remove it from the road in the direction its traveling. Just so you know. I woulda "informed" you if you confronted me. S.
  12. Label me all ya want....do you really think I care? LOL...I couldnt care less!! Simcoe is a crazy busy lake year round. Every time I go there I run into scumbags, ignorance, etc. It would have to be the last lake in the world for me to pay $25 to put my boat in. If it werent for the perch, i'd never lay eyes on it! S.
  13. Simcoe sucks anyways. Why anyone would pay $25 to launch there is beyond me. Why not spend that money and drive a little further to a nice lake without the crowds, and wingnuts. Charging $25 to launch a boat is highway robbery. I mean really, now can they justify that? S.
  14. I havent found mine yet, but I have a lot of lakes within an hour of home that I havent even fished yet! I tend to stick close to home. I find the fishing is just as good as anywhere. S.
  15. Id say splake too! A beauty at that! Congrats! S.
  16. I got out today, finally, for some eyes. Put 7 keepers in the boat with a few under slots, and 2 overs. Great day! Also brought home a great feed of crappies! Life is good again! S.
  17. You got a good trimmer from a great shop! Now, get to work! Lol S.
  18. Never heard of it either.... S.
  19. Great report! Thanks for sharing!! Crazy about the bear spray....lol....and the seagul hahaha. S.
  20. Just use water. S.
  21. The launch in omeemee is a sanctuary until next week FYI. S.
  22. The list of non cancer causing agents is much shorter.....wait a minute....there isnt one! S.
  23. Yep, been dealing with them for years. Great people, and they always have what I need, or fix what I have. Best place around for old vacuum parts too. S.
  24. They spawned a long time ago. Sometimes under the ice, but usually when the lakes are covered, but current areas are open. They might still be in current areas...... The big threat now is lowering water levels, when the fish spawned in VERY high water. The eggs could be left high and dry. S.
