  1. ahhh, there may be no better feeling than when someone tells you that you are stupid, that you dont know anything and that their "knowledge" is far superior to yours. But then....silence. GO LEAFS GO!

  3. I'll also agree with Gerritt We had a natural gas stove in Toronto for 42 years and have been using propane here for the last 9 years and I would never go back to an electric stove. Instant heat, fast cool down and much easier to regulate when cooking. Of course this is just all stuff my wife tells me LOL

  4. I agree with Gerritt with one thought in mind... carbon tax on natural gas will increase the cost over time as the tax will simply keep rising. HH

  5. Probably enjoying walleye spawn. Too early for them to spawn.

  6. Hardware is a great spring alternative as well. Like porkpie, I'm more of a fan of the fall fish instead of dropbacks. However, the weather in the spring is usually a lot nicer

  8. Is gas/propane an option Cliff? By far superior in mho, and they function during power outages as well... I'd go gas if possible

  10. Our sears flat top is about 8-10 years and just a piece of crap to keep clean. What I do like about it is the element at about 3/4 and lower shuts on and off making heat more even. And likely a little more efficient. I would look for something easier to clean.

  11. Been using a bobber and roe for 30 years. Probably won’t quit now. I’ve bottom bounced plenty as well but only when they are float shy or when fishing big water. I use beads sometimes also now, and I never use less than 6lb test leader. That’s a big change considering 3lb was something we used all the time. I don’t go for opener very often now though. I usually fish the fall or early season more than the opener for spawned out fish.

  15. That coming from a faceless silhouetted dude with 1500 posts, yet your last fishing report was about bottom feeders back in 2015. That about says it all. Go catch a fish for God's sake or get laid by whatever species you tend to lay with!!
