I have been using SailFlow and it works ok. Is there any you like better for surface temp and wave height.
Any suggestions?

The Windy app...most accurate and comprehensive that I've found yet.

NOAA for surface temps on the Great Lakes.

Unbelievable, what do you need an App like that for? Can fishing just be for fun . what can an App teach you that getting and learning the old fashioned way do? Having fun is getting too technical , leave the phone at home

Saves getting up at 5 am and finding out there's 3-4 footers crashing the boat launch. Especially trying to plan a day on the big water when talking small kids out to get them hooked on fishing. It's for weather, waves and wind not a fishing app.

Yeah, fishing is for fun but it can get very dangerous for us great lakes fishers.. 4-8 foot waves in a 16 footer can be dangerous

I got the info I need from the weather network, sail flow and environment Canada.
it does appear the weather buoy measuring wave height tops out at 1.3’.
