The universe is sending us a belated Christmas gift, or maybe it's a reward for enduring the polar vortex weather: The northern lights will be visible across most of Canada tonight. Seriously! The University of Alaska's Geophysical Institute predicts much of Canada and the northern fringes of the U.S. should be able to see the northern lights. Chicago, Boston, Cleveland, Seattle and Des Moines might see the shimmering colours low on the horizon.

We had some clear skies last evening but couldn't see the lights and now it's snowing so I spose I'm outta luck this time around.

They just want us to get up when Lew does!

 

But at least I had company when I couldn't find the Northern Lights :lol:
