jbailey Posted March 14, 2014 Report Posted March 14, 2014 Lots of leaf fans in L.A. They exist everywhere
tb4me Posted March 14, 2014 Report Posted March 14, 2014 Wow with all the noise these Leaf fans are making here tonight you would think this game was in Ottawa... HA HA HA
BillM Posted March 14, 2014 Report Posted March 14, 2014 There we go boys!!!! Reims stood on his head tonight!
jbailey Posted March 14, 2014 Report Posted March 14, 2014 There we go boys!!!! Reims stood on his head tonight! Reimer*
solopaddler Posted March 14, 2014 Report Posted March 14, 2014 Incredible performane! Hope Bernier is okay, but very happy for Reimer.
davey buoy Posted March 14, 2014 Report Posted March 14, 2014 Yeah,Reims played great. Two for three so far on this road trip!!!!!!
John Bacon Posted March 14, 2014 Report Posted March 14, 2014 As the song says... "2 out of 3 ain't bad." Four of six points is pretty good considering who they have played on the road for the last three.
grimsbylander Posted March 14, 2014 Report Posted March 14, 2014 I'm looking forward to tomorrow's night game between Montreal and OttaWAAAAAH!!! It's a win / win game for me. If Montreal wins and Ottawa loses, AWESOME! If Ottawa wins and Montreal loses, AWESOME! I have no problem with Ottawa stealing two points from Montreal. Ottawa is a ZERO playoff threat.
BassMan11 Posted March 14, 2014 Report Posted March 14, 2014 The OP sure has been quite on this thread for a while now. I wonder why that is?
muddler Posted March 14, 2014 Report Posted March 14, 2014 (edited) On a wing and a prayer. When the goaltenders are consistently hammered with so many shots per game, it is just a matter of time that they get hurt. On to the next one. Yup any positive blip in the win column and the Laff's fans dust off the floats for the parade. It will be a short playoff with so many one dimensional players . Keep hoping and keep jumping on the band wagon. It makes it that much nicer when the Loafs fall out. If you look back to the Olympic men's hockey teams. How well did Miss Kessel(don't touch or I'll pass or shoot) do against Canada. Oh, sorry, he was on fire! I forgot. What kind of medal did the Americans come away with? Oh yeah, a roll of tape. Gimme a break, Laffs are playing their playoff hockey now. When the real show starts, so will the rest of their opponents. The way to get to Miss Kessel is to hide his toque or knock off his helmet. He's so worried that someone might notice his receding hairline that he can't concentrate on anything less. Amazingly Miss Dion didn't score on her own goal last night, Same old Laffs, same old blah, blah. Keep hoping guys, there's always next year! muddler Edited March 14, 2014 by muddler
BillM Posted March 14, 2014 Report Posted March 14, 2014 Matt is a lot funnier then you are, you really gotta try harder.
Roy Posted March 14, 2014 Report Posted March 14, 2014 I'm not a Leafs fan but dang they're doing really well these days. Good for them.
kickingfrog Posted March 14, 2014 Report Posted March 14, 2014 I was really worried…then I realized that Team Canada won't be in the play-offs and that the old, slow team in beantown is just about the farthest thing from the Olympic gold medalists. We saw what happened last season in the play-offs and now Toronto has improved the goaltending. No one believes they are the Cup favourite but there are a lot of positives and they are heading in the right direction.

Plus if all goes well we won't meet until a later round when the Buds have a bunch of confidence from a round win or two.
kickingfrog Posted March 14, 2014 Report Posted March 14, 2014 Leafs and Boston can only meet in 1st or 2nd round unless Leafs finish in the wildcard that plays Metro division leader and beats them.

What was said about Marchand being someone I would want on my team? Edited March 14, 2014 by BassMan11
jbailey Posted March 14, 2014 Report Posted March 14, 2014 (edited) easy now.. don't take the banter so seriously.. Edited March 14, 2014 by jbailey
grimsbylander Posted March 14, 2014 Report Posted March 14, 2014 It has to go both ways to be "banter" That was a very entertaining video! I've never seen it before. Does anyone know how many Bruins are going to the summer Olympics?
jbailey Posted March 14, 2014 Report Posted March 14, 2014 it has gone both ways? there is about 173 pages of it.
jbailey Posted March 14, 2014 Report Posted March 14, 2014 With this recent success the leafs have been listening to a lot of Miley Cyrus haha - I think they need a new victory song..
grimsbylander Posted March 14, 2014 Report Posted March 14, 2014 Hahaha???? Yeah, anyway. Back to our regularly scheduled program. Has anyone heard an update about Bernier? All I heard this morning was lower body.
BillM Posted March 14, 2014 Report Posted March 14, 2014 He didn't seem to hurt while on the bench with the rest of the team lastnight. TSN also pointed him stretching out his leg after one of his saves. I'm guessing nothing serious.
