limeyangler Posted January 17, 2013 Report Posted January 17, 2013 Morning all....brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Was a bit chilly out this morning, wife has always wanted to throw a bucket of water up and turn it to ice...she succeeded. I had to try too...lol...cool...literally! Now i have to go and clear all the snowdrifts then i'm going for some trout. COOL!
Rod Caster Posted January 17, 2013 Report Posted January 17, 2013 Haha good stuff. -25 with a 10 degree wind chill in Nbay this morning. I nearly lost some fingerprints to a piece of metal! Yikes! Love it though... This cold spell should add a couple inches of ice to the snow-barren lakes
misfish Posted January 17, 2013 Report Posted January 17, 2013 How cold does it have to be for this to happen? The mrs,s wants to try this.
manitoubass2 Posted January 17, 2013 Report Posted January 17, 2013 Nice and warm here Simon! at least according to that other thread, hahahaha. She is making nice ice!!!! brrrr.
DRIFTER_016 Posted January 17, 2013 Report Posted January 17, 2013 -25 = warm winter day where I live.
Nipfisher Posted January 17, 2013 Report Posted January 17, 2013 (edited) I believe one of the coldest places in Ontario was Timmins this morning with -41 degrees celcius. Edited January 17, 2013 by Nipfisher
NAW Posted January 18, 2013 Report Posted January 18, 2013 Cool video Simon. Reminds me of when I was a hired hand on a farm. In the winter we would rebuild combines. I had to clean them first. The pressure washer was more like an ice blaster on the super cold days..

aplumma Posted January 18, 2013 Report Posted January 18, 2013 About the only good thing about not going metric is F* numbers give the perception it is warmer than it is. Art
