I agree, just after the ice goes out, it's like a needle in a haystack, some deep, some really deep, some suspended, but none of them very active I'm going to Haliburton for a 4 day easter weekend, the ice has been out for over 2 weeks but it's been pretty cool weather, I'll see what happens Edited April 6, 2012 by chris.brock Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Jigger Posted April 7, 2012 Report Share Posted April 7, 2012 Got out for a bit today. Didnt mark anything, and the shallow areas that have produced in the past were vacant. pike slayer Posted April 7, 2012 Report Share Posted April 7, 2012 I find it takes 2-3 weeks and some nice weather with the bugs to start coming out before they are in shallow and binge eating before they head deep. the lakers are like ahhhhhhh the sun!! and it takes a couple weeks for their eyes to adjust hahhaaha!
