Guest ThisPlaceSucks Posted September 28, 2009 Report Posted September 28, 2009 I made the plunge this weekend, getting married at a lakeside ceremony on Saturday. We rented a kids summer camp for an entire weekend allowing for our friends and family to come and stay for the entire weekend. Much partying ensued. Even troutologist made it home from the 'peg for it! I don't have a whole lot of pics just yet, but here's my favourite...

bigugli Posted September 28, 2009 Report Posted September 28, 2009 Congratulations on your good fortune. Now as a rep for the "Henpecked Husbands Union", Local 112, its time to impart the guys "secret" to a happy marriage. Three simple rules to remember: 1) Yes Dear 2) No Dear 3) Anytning you say Dear. Remember them, use them. When practiced effectively you can either butter her up or drive her to frustration in under 30 seconds It's all in how you say it
Leecher Posted September 28, 2009 Report Posted September 28, 2009 Yep.... definitely a KEEPER Congrats to both of you Leechman

lunders Posted September 28, 2009 Report Posted September 28, 2009 Congratulations! May I ask you where you went? I'm kind of looking myself for a camp/big lodge or something for my upcoming wedding. Will have friends/family from overseas, would love to have something on a lake for the weekend to get married. (And get in some partying and fishing as well...!) Am looking for something preferably within three hours driving of Toronto...

PS You 2 look familiar I did it on the trout closer weekend which was mildly scandalous, but it was the only weekend available for the camp. And yes, it was Camp Wakonda. If we look familiar perhaps we live in your neighborhood? We do walk a lot!

DEFINITELY not near the big smoke.
