Thats sucks big time terry !!!! man on the link picture you can see the mud lines on lake ontario,and lake erie is chocolate milk color !!! it looks like scugog is still frozen excepth for the area around view lake and the river entrance !!! but like you said simcoe does not look good at all,and it looks like only half of cooks bay is solid

kempenfelt bay is a right off

so no whitiefish but perch could happen

well misfish

bass are out of season, but there could be crappie along those shorelines...I will wear my snowshoes

glen, a few days ago I thought that at lest kempenfelt would be ok for lakers and whities, but doesn't look good at all

 

I do have my folding boat if the winds die down

I think the ice is still there the picture is just reflecting off water on the ice here is a picture later in the day

 

i does appear to be water on the ice or black ice or shadow of the clouds leving dark spots

 

even in the earlier shot it shows scugog almost wide open on the viewlake side and the later shot below shows it all tight with no open areas
