steverowbotham
I want to see everyones favourite fishing pics from 2007. I've had a hard time choosing one, so I've broken them down into categories. PLEASE EVERYONE POST, I'm itching for summer fishing, pics help me get through it hahaha. PIKE Not my biggest pike of the year, but it was solid.... and like at its tail ... a monster took a chomp on the way in! BROOK TROUT self explanatory, I was happy. and he was released! CRAPPIE Not monsters, but non-stop all day on G-Bay in early May BROWN TROUT It's a damn shame about the trees shadow in the picture COHO SALMON I just like this pic STEELHEAD LARGEMOUTH BASS This would be a different pic if I could get the photos off of my phone. SMALLMOUTH BASS I saved this one for last as it is my favourite by far. Edited January 6, 2008 by steverowbotham
lew
Great idea for a January thread Steve !! There was no fishing involved in this pic, but because I had the GPS turned on, I spose it can be classed it as fishing related Just me & the Mrs. out for a nice moonlight cruise on a warm August evening, but it was by far my favorite picture taken in all of 2007. 41+ years of wedded bliss

scuro
My favorite pics of 2007 are all pics that I took and not of me. Two are of Moosebunk and one of my wife. That son of a gun was damn determined to lift this sturgeon and he held it up for what seemed like five minutes. Lovely pic. Love this pic of the Bunkster it's simply just a great photo. This is the type of place where it's not the most important thing if you do that well. The scenery made your heart ache. My wife's first big fish. She is talking baby talk to the pike..."yous are such a big boy". Edited January 6, 2008 by scuro

mufasa001
Took my son up to Brennan Harbour in Spanish, Ontario, for a week in July. We had a great time (thanks to the folks at Brennan Harbour Resort!). Took a lot of great fishing pics, but my favorite pic does not include a fish at all. I think you all will understand when you see it.

Greencoachdog
A nice January "Spot", betcha y'all wish you could go Bassin in January eh? A gang of hoodlums at the Lakair G2G! Me and some guy that washed my windshield for 50 cents at Lakair. Two derelicts I picked up hitchhiking that volunteered to clean the Pike Tourney fish for shots of Granny's "medicine". My first ever shore lunch!!! Nipissing fish... the littlest first. A Perch with an attitude problem My PB Wall-ice to date, that I used to for... bait to catch my PB Nip Mucksie!!! (I like to gaff and release all my fish!) Other fish A nice Striped Bass I caught while fishing in Czechoslovakia, the structure to my left (your right) is the Iron curtain. I didn't think it looked like that either... but it does! Yes! They have Spotted Bass in Czechoslovakia too! This is a world record Silver Peacock Bass I caught while on fishin' safari on the Amazon River! Yes!, that is the Amazon rain forrest in the background there. They also have Blue Catfish there too! .. and Striped Bass too! Fished Lake Simcoe and got this world record Smallie in my left hand (your right) and world record Gobie in the other! Brian (Bcanuck) can vouch for me if y'all don't believe it. Simcoe is just full of these huge Gobies! Also got this Bowfin and MERMAID!!! while fishin' Simcoe! Another shot of the Bowfin, the Mermaid got away... I knew I shoulda put her on the stringer!!! I caught this on the BOQ in November. I went back to the Amazon and caught these 2 Killer Pirahna, had to pull their bottom teeth so I could do the "Lip" hold.. if anyone ever tells you it doesn't get cold in the Amazon, tell them they're full of green jello!!! I hope y'all enjoyed these pics... and weren't expecting to hear the truth from a fishermans lips!
