I'm guessing $17,900.00 with no trailer taxes extra

You know....I really like your attitude. Wanna come up here fishing sometime. All the guys from Ohio will be up in August

I stopped buying rods and reels under a hundred dollars a piece a few years ago. And that includes for the kids. I got my son a StCroix premier 6'6 medium , fast ,one piece for easter this year. Not to be uppity, but you can feel quality, and we are a serious fishing family.

When they stop taking the premiums off my cheque every week. Welfare is in your taxes and goes to anybody that doesn't want to or can't work. Insurance gets you through the tough spots. It used to pay a heck of a lot better than it does now. When everybody was out of work in the 80's recession the government had to pay out of taxes to cover what they had promised. They cut benefits back and raised premiums. Now it makes money, and they spend it on other things,,,same as GM spending pension money, and thats not what it is supposed to do. Bussiness owners don't pay it, and they don't collect it. Its a working mans insurance. If we can't use it, we shouldn't have to pay it. That kid works hard, and he is going to work for what could be an idiot employer. Why should he have to put up with that guys crap when he paid into a system that gives him an option not to while he finds a real employer

Darn..she lost her pants

The rules say "cannot get a job equal to what you were paying the insurance for" You going to let your insurance company give you a Kia when you wreck your mercedes, even though the policy you were forced to buy said you would get a mercedes? Unemployment insurance isn't social assistance. You have to work to get it

Hi Cliff. I looked at that boat and motor in a side console model. I got a Sylvan instead with a 60 Yammie. My boat is a V hull and weighs in at 804 compared to your 834. Its rated for a 75 and I wouldn't want any less than the 60. Looking at the same weight basically I would say get the 60 on yours. My decision was based a lot on the fact that a 50 and 60 are the same weight, but the 75 is another 150 lbs. I don't know why they rate the same size and weight boat so different, but maybe the V hull does it. PS, If you go with a yammie, they have a trolling kit that will let you control RPM's in 50 rpm increments from standard idle speed of 750, all the way down to 450. Would make for great trolling with no kicker, and you can't hear a 4 stroke run. its actually funny. my electric makes more noise that the 60

I resent that. The government is trying to make EI shamefull. EI stands for Employment Insurance. When it was started it was called Unemployment Insurance. INSURANCE. It is mandatory to pay into it. It is to help you, kinda like a savings account, for when you are unlucky enough to be out of work. It helps people get established in their chosen field. Gives them a bit of money between jobs to work and move up the ladder to permanent employment. It changed to EI after mulroneys recession when the government didn't want to pay out the benefits after they took the premiums from the working man. The fund is loaded with money now and the government is using it as a source of income instead of giving it back to the policy holders when they need it most. Living on welfare for an able bodied man is shamefull, collecting EI when you are between jobs is like letting the insurance company pay off an accident claim. Do you tell your insurance to just skip it when you wreck your car?

Glad you enjoyed the trip DouG, and thanks for the report. But...what lake did you end up going too?

We use them for walleye when they are biting short

Running the engine and drivetrain under no load can be nothing but bad.

That motor is $3200.00 plus taxes new...I would not think twice about buying it if I needed it. I'm a Yamaha guy though I just gave one of them away with a 14' boat and trailer for 2800, a 97 to boot..not 03. They guy didn't want to see it run before he bought it, but I put it in a garbage can and ran it anyway.

Yup...thats funny...I gotta get my wife to read it

Lets see your boat. I just did mine. I used the holes already there from the cleats. Bent a piece of stainless steel at work, used a file and sander to get rid of the sharp edges and give it a brushed finnish. I couldn't and didn't want to put a board across because there is a seat mount in the way. If you show a picture maybe we can come up with something

I don't have time for the back in the bush fishing anymore. I got that boat to fish the river...Bells point to Desbarats sort of thing. North Channel. I wanna go get some of them 5 to 10 lb eyes.

Thats pretty funny. They want alternative sources so they can rip us off on them too

Call Maitland Ford 705-759-4545 and ask for service. Talk to the guy about your vibration. I drive Fords. The guy says they do it, and Ford knows they do it, and they can't figure it out
-
Its his boat...he can drive it on rocks if he wants too. He may not have had a boaters card. You don't need one yet. You don't learn a lot with a boaters card course anyway. Your insurance doesn't give a discount for a boaters card, but they do for a depth finder. I remember a bunch of years ago, this young engineer had his snowmobile in the back of his truck. I said to him, "don't you tie that in there?" he said...Naw, its fine like that. The next day heading home down the highway, he spun out on the ice, sled went flying, and he got under control without hitting anything. Sled was totalled. When he told me I just shrugged my shoulders. it was pretty funny.
