You just gotta give him a big wet sloppy kiss to prove it.
Is it worth the license fee?
My wife comes in the boat with me a knits, but doesn't fish. I can't see a problem with that.
Crap..never thought of that. My boat was delayed and I had nothing to do all weekend, and so wanted to fish.
Never thought of hitting the rivers.
Nice fish
Its time for Atlantics?
I gotta learn them too.
Like I say,,,gotta learn that river, its too good not to fish there.
Seems wer'e starting to get a few from the Sault on here.
I prefer the garbage can method myself.
Just remember, do not even pull an outboard over without water. The little rubber impeller needs to be wet or it could stick and break and then you have no water pump.
It doesn't even need to start, if you're lucky, one pull can do it
I guess all this talk about the whitefish, I better post some pictures.
We weren't the first boat out there.
Ended up being at least 20 boats out there.
Our friendly neighborhood CO showed up and checked every license where was.
we ended up with about 20 fish
lost a couple of dandys
hot lure for the day was a 3" long Sweedish pimple in gold with the bumps on it.
When I cut my fish open they were eating 3" long smelts.
Fun cranking these guys out of 85' of water.
I'll be there for the next few weekends, then on to the walleyes
I have seen a few guys keep Rock Bass. Gotta keep em cool though. It's neat watching them go at a minnow.
I don't think you could keep a spec cold enough without spending a pile.
and yeah, its illegal
and what creeks?
PS, we got a pile of whitefish outta Big Basswood saturday...pics on Monday
