  1. Sliders is the way to go. I spend 50 bucks on a new pair about 4-5 years ago and i put a lot of kms on my voyageur. They look like they would last me another 10 seasons. To bad i cant say the same for the clam hut itself. They sure take a beating behind a sled!
  2. Figures lol
  3. Yup he is so fast, So fast in fact that he's invisible!
  4. he's been smelling up the joint!
  5. Im not sure if the 35 has the zoom or not? Im partial the the vex myself. Personally i would get a flasher that offers a zoom. You wont be sorry!
  6. I had the same problem with my jigging raps Steve, and also with the fine wire hooks on my chubby darters always breaking off. I picked up a few packs of mustad trebles. Problem solved. Small sizes are not that easy to find mind you!
  7. Couldn't agree more! What i dont understand is why everyone is kissing your butt and not just showing you the door.... Suck it up!

  9. I understand how frustrating that can be if the person that walk in below you and cuts off your drifts but if you both work together is it that big of a deal?
  10. Why does it always gotta be about size to y'all ...... Nice Simcoe laker A pair of simcoe tank whities 10lb kawartha eye next is a pair of very respectable kawartha skis All fish returned to the water unharmed..... and the whities well they were released in a pan of hot oil!

  13. Nice fish guys! Wtg on the laker Steve
  14. When i think icefishing i think sled. But the conditions on simcoe are not the greatest for my rx-1 yamaha. Already need a new set of sliders and not enough snow to cool the heat exchangers. In a perfect world i would buy both...
  15. Fished it way back when ross was the owner also. Fishing was great. We targeted whities and did really well everytime.
  16. Let your offering hit the bottom every jig.... stir up that silt.... I also agree that a sonar works wonders if used correctly!
  17. The reason is certainly not due to thier customer service!
  18. Not sure if radio world has what u are looking for but if they do i bet its cheaper than fishing world. They are selling the vex fl-18 propack for 440 and the genz pack for 400
  19. Hey cliff, I'd have to say stick with the vex. I have had the aqua vue and it didnt get much use. I am now currently running a vex fl-18 and love it. The vex is a lot more versitile and you know as well as i do its essential for those suspended fish. I would say sell them all and upgrade to the fl-18 model. It has a low power setting which works well in water 15' or less cheers, buckster
  20. Hey i wouldn't mind one of them lol
