  1. Heard this on E-Z rock station today times they are changing... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DkGZGPmOcFk
  2. Always nice quality reports from youse guys. Maybe the summer/fall report will have some muskies. Many thanks for post.
  3. Ha Ha Binfish'n is more of a lookalike. That grey/blue walleye sure is small, interesting colouring trait.
  4. Not that i ever bought one, but i should. Have a friend as well that catches lots of pike and smallies on them. You need to use their hooks and little setup and the minnow darts around nicely or sinks like a senko if left alone. The naysayers have obviously not used them. Blk/slv colour is best.
  5. Great report! My PB crappie(15in.) came from Dalrymple about 12 yrs. ago. Looks like you had a very special and active day there.
  6. Nice report You look like a member of ZZ Top here. What is that weird little fish?
  7. Ya, there is a PDF from ministry that lists lakes with sauger in Ontario. I noticed Cecebe lake there but thought it would be waste of time. http://www.mnr.gov.on.ca/stdprodconsume/groups/lr/@mnr/@letsfish/documents/document/226829.pdf
  8. Seems like sauger are found mostly around Kenora/Dryden and Ottawa river drainage. The Ontario record was caught in Detroit R. and weighed only 4.4 lbs. Seems like somewhere on the Ottawa R. might be your best bet closest to GTA.
  9. HaHa, logged on OFC just to provide link that works like last four events since sites in US were shut down. Try this and bookmark for future. Seems to work here. http://www.firstrowsports.eu/watch/76756/1/watch-ufc-133:-rashad-evans-vs-tito-ortiz.html
  10. Those St.Clair/Detroit R. muskies have a real unique spot pattern. Cool stuff

Excellent photos of some incredible over a century old arstuffecture. One of the good things about going downtown is this old work. Many thanks for posting.

Very nice! Makes the bear almost dog-like Is this the Ottawa area again?
  14. A 50 incher is a rare feat but more so in the Kawarthas. After about 25 yrs. i am still searching for a 50 incher on Pigeon maybe i need to know where this D.S.I is located? Nice going there Crazyhook.
  15. Maybe mention a town near where you live and someone might mention a decent lake nearby. Central Ontario covers a lot of area but walleye are found in most places.
  16. Another excellent report! A real family get together with a bunch of fish. You go on a 'staycation' and hammer big walleyes on Lac Seul
  17. Another great report and write up there Mike. Many, many thanks for bringing us along vicariously with the vids etc... I like the comments from your kids and dad in the videos, makes the whole thing so much fun on top of the incredible fishing.
  18. Hurray for Canada! Violent crime rates have dropped to there lowest levels in 40 yrs. Ontario leads the way with the lowest rates. I would think that is a good trend. This gang shootout has no injuries and the police have no suspects, hardly a shootout.
  19. Bay of Quinte is very large and the fish tend to move around so hotspots or GPS spots tend to be useless anyways. Forget about muskies as they are few and far between. There is a good amount of pike and walleye and an excellent bass fishery there. Telegraph Narrows is a great place to start as the bay narrows and deepens a little, concentrating fish. Look for gradual dropoffs to deep water or edges of weedbeds and throwing spinners or jigs etc along the edges should get you something. Bet you won't get skunked
  20. As others have said targeting walleye or pike is your best bet. Huge walleye in fair numbers will be coming into that area from Lake Ontario about that time. Have seen some pictures in reports here from Quinte of musky but not for 6-7 yrs. They were caught incidentally while targeting bass there and about 30-35 inches in size. One regular contributor here mentioned a 'ski hit his jig 'n pig and it was so big he could barely move it before it snapped his line. They seem to be there but are rarely caught.
  21. Nice report! The sturgeon making a comeback is great news, reminds me of the bald eagles making a comeback as well. Looks like a good time was had despite the heat.
  22. Ya great news I really enjoyed all the excellent wildlife photos from the marsh area. Looking forward to more in the future.
  23. What your daughter just went through is incredibly tough on all fronts. For her to have a big smile on her face as she leaves the hospital in record time is the best outcome imaginable. What an inspiration for all of us.
  24. Best wishes for Mr. Layton to make a recovery from this terrible disease. Say what you will about the NDP but the last election was historical and what he did was great for Canada. His party not only defeated and nearly eliminated the separatist Bloc Quebecois but trounced the old school Liberal party by becoming the official opposition. Truly believe he is trying to help regular Canadians instead of widening the gap between rich and poor like the reform party castoffs in power now. Get well Jack!
  25. I remember this post from Scugog it seemed like it was 4-5 yrs. ago. Think a few other musky were caught on this successful outing. Wow, time flies. I would go to Pigeon though. The weeds at Scugog drive me nuts.
