Fished the area once several years back Laz, with Ron. Deep water can be had at the south end of East Hardwood Island. I followed his directions while I motored out as he knew the area and said they're were rocks to watch out for. We didn't get any "eyes" but we did get a number of big sheephead.

Make a phone call to Bay City Marine Darren (905-574-1222 ), they sell Yamahas. I got a spare aluminium prop for my 2006, 75 Merc off them a few years ago for $100.00 though I did bargain with them for it.

Thank you. The first year I caught rainbows in Whitemans was 1974 or 1975. I stood on the bridge with a CO friend who had a truck load of several thousand dumped in. After giving them time to acclimatize and spread out we then fly fished and go figure, my first fish was a 19" Brown. I've always suspected that those were indeed the first rainbows in the creek.

Exactly, any further negativity will be dealt with, severely!

I had those on my canoe years ago, mounted them myself. They were for mini Scotty downriggers.

I've been slowly working on a special build for member Floatman55 and have now finished it. A little more involved than most of my builds in terms of handle/seat construction and the inclusion of two colours of metallic thread. The pictures don't show it clearly but it starts with three turns of gold metallic, three turns silver metallic, 6 turns black, one turn silver, six more black then one more gold then finish in black.

Agreeing with everyone else. I would have thought that area would be full of them.

I had something similar, actually nearly exact (double in size) in a Lake Erie Walleye, in about the same area of the flesh too! Not very appetizing......"GAG"
