Well it's Father's day and being located here in Hamilton I'm privileged to view the many planes of years gone by as the Hamilton Air Show is under way and I'm reminded of how fortunate we are to live the lives we have today.
So I'm taking a few minutes to remember our forefathers, the sons, the husbands, the many who grew up without fathers and husbands and the young men who never had a chance to become fathers.
Watching Hamilton's Avro Lancaster fly overhead I'm reminded of the dedication of this plane to one such hero.

With that I wish all of our soldiers past and present both here in Canada and the U.S. and all the fathers here a very Happy Fathers Day.
*Salute*
I believe you mean this one (Yes, MJL took it)?
I happen to have it as I was attached to the other end of the line.

Some great shots above!
A PM to Roy as per forum rules would have been a good option, no.

Lures, Flies, Jigs, Floats, Rods, Wading Staffs, Boat Mods and likely much more over the years.
It`d take me a month of Sundays to post pictures.
But I`ve also noted over the years there`s no lack of amazing talent on this forum.
I must have missed the remark stating that the picture was of a Coho.
Good day on the water Emil, I feel your pain though on the loss of the chrome shark, costly for sure.
First one I'll miss in 13 years (I think?).
I'm not happy about it, but there's not much I can do about it short of winning the lottery.
I will definitely miss the pleasure of being in the company of all you fine folks.
Solid advice, vertical is my fave go to tactic when fish can be located. Include a few heavy type ice fishing spoons as well and don't think slow presentation.
That is some sweet looking water Brian.
While I grew up on fly fishing and love it some of those spots would be best attacked with a hair jig on a short spinning rod.
Thanks for the pictures.
Sunday house cleaning day..... *yawn*
A little motivational music blasting (must be LOUD!) on the stereo.
