  1. Truly sad Nick, my condolences and heartfelt thoughts for you and your family.
  2. Oh I don't know, my Calcutta 200 TE DC will fish frog water as good as any center pin I've used but it's not necessarily my first choice.
  3. After 30 plus years of center pin fishing Bill I have to say I am enjoying the bait caster. But I wouldn't be without the center pin either.
  4. Guess I'm a hero too.
  5. Great stuff Bill, I'm glad you and your company had a great trip and that the rods performed well. I'll have to get my ass out that way some day, looks to good to miss seeing and fishing it at least once in my lifetime.
  6. Three greats from three generations just yucking it up a wee bit...... <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/8R8puk3kImA" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
  7. That's a lot fish! Don't be shy in posting more!
  8. As always thanks guys! I'm pleased your happy with them Ryan, hopefully you'll get to use them soon.
  9. That's a fallacy Brian, blanks do have a spine (or spline if you prefer) but in many cases there's more than one. Usually one will be more dominant and I often build on either side of it depending on the customers desire, but more often than not it's built on the straightest axis. Given all that mumbo jumbo how many people have you seen or know who fish there rod through a perfect 90* plane.....
  10. No one is forcing you to stay.
  11. I'll play along..... Mooneye
  12. LOL Grade 12, school goes that high.......
  13. Yep, that'd be me.
  14. For many years Brian I made my own but these days mostly store bought. The type is simple, a removable stem through the center to pass the line through, no (potential) rotation as you haul it back in. Simply there's no right or wrong, just go with what works for you.
  15. Never have, not sure I'd even know how. Also never use a float with the line running on the outside, line through floats only.
  16. In 30 plus years of float fishing for steelhead I've never tied on a swivel.
  17. If your new truck is taking you and your boat fishing, I'd think it fishing related.

  19. This was the first post I read this morning Paul, didn't set the day off well for me as I have travelled this path fairly recently. My heart felt condolences to you and your family.
  20. That wrap alone is $150.00.
  21. My thanks again all.
  22. Bravo! You boys obviously had some fun.
  23. Thanks again all, truly appreciated. A lot of time and effort goes into these style of wraps with multiple coats of finish (several hours) and I still believe I'm not charging enough! Oh and nice to see you on board the last few days Sam. I hope all is well?
