  1. If all members new and old were completely familiar with the forums rules we wouldn't be discussing this now.
  2. Now that's just not right given I'm having spaghetti, again! As for the snow, beautiful but I can wait another few months.
  3. Blank info BFW....... Rainshadow RX7 - F908 - 9'0" - 2 piece - 8 weight - butt .415 - tip size 6 -Med-Fast - blank weight 2.17oz - Large & Smallmouth Bass /bonefish/light Salt Water
  4. They're not meant to come off Dave, once expired slide them together and tuck them in a pocket for proper disposal.
  5. Alright, enough of the snottiness, everyone here was new at one time. Not everyone introduced themselves before jumping in, myself included (way back when). It's not a prerequisite but it does help, as for the negative comments I've read on various posts today, I'd expect or at least hope for better from the members here.
  6. Definitely, absolutely, always go wingless shot Dave or float fishing.
  7. Nicely done Luke.
  8. Glad you're enjoying your new rod Chris. The only picture I have is of the handle and I posted somewhere previously but here it is again.
  9. Awesome! I'm beginning to think I wasted good money on riggers.
  10. I guess I may be the only other person who gets it.
  11. Stunning photos Mike. Thanks for dropping in this morning, it was great to see you again and get some of the details and efforts required to get all these wonderful pictures.
  12. Wow, if I had to throw a number out there for the number of guys I've fished with and socialized with through this forum it would be well over a hundred. I won't even try to list them all as my memory is not what it once was and I'd be upset if I forgot to mention even one. I will state however that everyone of them I'd be happy to spend time with again.
  13. There's many methods used and names for them, for anglers with less intelligence than the fish they seek.
  14. Way before my day, but I understand it all too well. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/R_raXzIRgsA" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
  15. It's hard to read through all the misinformation here I don't even know what to say other than, nice big Chinook to the OP, well done.
  16. Wow! What more can I say? Good stuff Ron and a great testament to the effectiveness of Mr. Parkers lures.
  17. There are good people here Chris, you now that.
  18. To the OP, research "Lactic Acid' build up in fish and the answer to over fighting/stressing fish that will be released becomes obvious. Also applies to fish you're going to eat oddly enough.
  19. Personal preference for me Brian, no offset reels, don't like them visually or functionally.
  20. I've only used borrowed shoes a few times so I'm not up on what's what but I know TJ sells, or used to sell shoes, maybe worth enquiring. http://ontariofishingcommunity.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=29
  21. Well I finally finished reading through it all, outstanding! A great trip and some great writing Mike. Thanks to both of you for taking us along.
  22. It's a 9' - 8 weight BFW, single hand. Adequate for most of the small tribs in this area.
  23. Thank you Dave, much appreciated. When you're ready just shoot me a PM.
  24. For what it's worth the reel seat hardware is anodized in titanium and the trim wraps are in silver, something that works with that would look cool.
  25. Both look like nice reels Chris, I'd be hard pressed to decide. Did you check out the Reddingtons?
