While it's been a long time since I brought a steelie home it was always a fave here with me and my kids, cooked left overs were always flaked cold the next day, mixed with mayo (onions, celery) and spread thick on toast garnished with lettuce.....Mmmmmmmmm, GOOD!

I'm sure most of these pictures have been here at least once, maybe more? But here's my little girl Brook.... ] Here she is at 5 months old trying to keep up with me in October while I'm chasing "steel," she's wet, cold and covered in burrs but determined to stay at my side. At this point I've only had her for one month and I'd later discover she hates water, can`t even swim these days even though she did that day. She loves to be out with me anywhere, any time and always stays where I tell her to. Here she is guarding my tackle while I probe a small creek for Brookies and Browns, she won't approach the stream bank and spook my trout unless I give her permission. Awesome!
