  1. It's sad. But closer to home (very close to home) I know of a chain of spring fed lakes that has had perch, smallmouth bass and pike intentionally introduced into a natural Brook Trout lake because the locals couldn't catch the Brook Trout. Suffice to say, the Brook Trout have suffered huge. Even more disturbing is these fools have now introduced the three species into an upper Saugeen watershed that was once home to natural self sustaining Brook Trout.
  2. LOL....When my neighbours crank up their outdoor speakers with country, I reciprocate with Tool. No mercy!

  5. So very sad and so very wrong.
  6. As have I Brian, terribly sad. I've just heard that it's not Kevin. Who knows? But whether it's him or not I'm certain that any chance of finding him alive as long since past.
  7. https://globalnews.ca/news/4436014/man-drowns-balmy-beech-park/ I suspect that this sadly is Kevin. A tragically unfortunate loss.
  8. That's correct Sinker. " The fisherman, identified by police as Toronto resident Kevin Wong, was reportedly filming a video with a friend when he disappeared. Police say the friend was out on the water in a separate boat and lost sight of the 31-year-old shortly before noon." https://www.cp24.com/mobile/news/search-resumes-for-fisherman-missing-in-ajax-1.4083860
  9. I was told early this morning that it was BFSC. Tragic regardless of who it is.

  21. Lunch for my daughter today. Partridge breast deboned then marinated all day in Teriyaki. When ready to cook dredged through seasoned flour and then browned quickly in hot bacon fat with capers. Served with red rice and roasted asparagus and mushrooms and then topped with fresh grated Grana Padano. And of course a plate for me.
  22. Just to remind me that June's annual trip comes around every year.
  23. Thanks guys. Oh you're right Brian, it could have been better but the end result justified the poor appearance.
