    I used an epoxy stick from canadian tire. You had to use a propane torch to heat the area that was leaking , then use the torch to melt the epoxy and let it drip in place. A pain , but it sealed the leaks.

    I hope you checked the regulations to make sure that the river is open to fishing where you were. The season opens April 27 everywhere.

    Many libraries along lake Huron lend out fishing Equipment, just like books, to the youth in their communities.

    I use a 6'x6' square smelt net for catching minnows for perch fishing. The holes are quite small like the old square 3'x3' minnow nets that CT sells.
