  1. Great to get out with friends and catch some beauties.
  2. That my kitchen make over is completed.
  3. I bought a case that will hold my 13' rod and reel at Lambeth Rod & Tackle for around $40.
  4. Here is a company to consider ( click on rod and reel cases at the bottom) http://clearcreek.net/
  5. You had a great season !
  6. He will be remembered forever !
  7. I fish alone 99% of the time and have a bad ankle, so I have fished less often now than in my past. Most of my fishing partners have either past away to early or have developed health problems that prevent them from going. I still really enjoy the time on the river, but sold my boat so no more lake fishing. Hopefully conditions will be better in the spring and more steelhead outings will be possible.
  8. It was always entertaining to watch our cat climb and tip over the Christmas tree year after year.
  9. Mine had Prince Craft written on the sides at the back. The letters were actually gone , but you could easily read Princecraft on either side. Replaced almost all the rivets in the bottom over the years.
  10. I'm sure their boats have come a long way in recent times. I wasn't trying to put down Prince Craft boats as mine was still going strong after 40 plus years.
  11. Got 70 cm of snow the other day at my place and used my snow blower for the first time in 3 years (ankle problems ) and was very glad it started, but it did take 3 pulls. It takes more when I forget to turn it on.
  12. It was a 61 and sank at the dock when it filled with water during a torado that blew through the Huntsville area while we were staying in the area.
  13. I had an old Princecraft that sank like a rock when swamped.
  14. I was in grade 11 at that time.
  15. Great to hear that she will be spared radiation treatment. Stay strong !
  16. I had an Islander and it must have been defective as you had to pull line to get it started even in heavy current. People said it would get better with time, but it never did. Don't have trouble with my present reels. The Islander was a huge disappointment.
  17. Have a great time. My kids are now in their thirties, but your pictures brings back some fond memories.
  18. It was identified as a strike indicator used by fly fishermen on a different forum.
  19. May be a Mad River rattle bead ?
  20. It is always tragic when someone so young loses their life. My condolences to your families.
  21. Looks like a great location !
