  3. if the furnace fan will not run then there is a SERIOUS deeper problem,it should come on regardless of the heat setting or thermal coupler recognition !! Please DON'T blow up your home trying to fix it get an expert !!!!!
  4. The whole thing about small boats is how unstable they are,after much thinking I bought from sportspal the floatation that they put on the side of their canoes.It was easy to install and it made 12fter so much easier to use. vance
  5. I wanted to do the same thing a couple of years ago but you have to be careful of the load ratings.No sense in buying a boat that doesnt have the capacity to carry 2 and a motor and gear. I eventually bought 12 ft car topper and 2hp motor used. vance
  6. It all depends on how soon the temps get hot,if it is a cool spring watch out.Last year it was bad as the cool weather led to the black flies and mosquitoes being out at the same time. vance

  9. Hey Lew my ex next door neighbour had 1949 Le France similar to the one in the picture.He drove it to a Santa Claus parade one year in below zero weather,it took him 2 days to thaw out !!!!! vance
  10. we were out last Friday with Tim Hales out of beaverton and the snow was deep enough to make walking around difficult.There are some packed down trails that you might be able to use. vance
  11. I have the garmin Montana 600 which I use on my ATV, 10,000 k in the last 3 years without a problem !!! I bought the back roads maps for it as it lists both the snow and atv trails.The best feature is that the screen is readable in direct bright sunlite even with sun glasses on (Polaroid).It floats and is waterproof. vance
  12. As I told my one neighbour when she was complaining about a back yard rink near her would you rather have them running the streets and up to no good or playing hockey in a fenced in yard !!!!

  14. Not only can I,I have changed many tires not always for me.I carry a 12v corded impact gun just for that purpose BUT I would never do on any 400 series highways in Toronto,that's a job for the CAA !!!!! vance

I have only been between Mattawa and Deux Rivere which is 25 k and in that distance there are only 4 or 5 cottages and most of the terrain is steep right down to the water and I don't think there is much of a difference all the way to Rolphton. I know the Quebec MNR launches from Rolphton and carries his gas with him so there cant be many place to get gas. vance

  19. From experience I know older finders dont work well with trolling motors,some sort of interference.Having said that I also know that newer ones dont have that problem.Try it to see if it works. vance

  21. I have a 1971 2hp and i only use it to troll on my 12ft boat. It runs for ever and I am not sure how long it will go. vance
