Suffix 832 will be on sale this week at CTC for $14.39
registerfly replied to Cudz's topic in General Discussion
seems a few don't like it, but can you elaborate as to why or what properties of it that didn't work for you? I mostly use pp but also not too big of a fan of it. I also have the 832 on one set up and so far doesn't seem too far off from the pp -
too simplistic and idealistic in nature to assume this would remotely work

fished Mill this past summer there is good depth but found it way in the back by the rock face where we hit smallies, approx 80+ FOW. otherwise the rest not so deep.

Catching trout with bare hands? Really!

what noodle trout fishing?? -
we spent the may long weekend last year, and have booked with Steve again for the same time. Hit and miss fishing at that time of year as it is the opener. Last year was tough, but past season regulars had much more success the prior year. According to Steve, the time you are looking at is much better fishing. As for the food, it is top notch, excellent service, and very comfy cabins. We are returning not just for fishing obviously.

Morrissey who? cares -
that's where you're wrong, it does matter what shoes your car is wearing. From shorter stopping distances to much improved traction, all the tests are there as further proof to aid in collision avoidance. But to each their own.

sounds like a good idea if you can STAY home, not everyone is so fortunate. Those like us that have to commute for a living, find them invaluable. There is no $ value on safety.

the walk is 10 min or less, beats the $30 tic my lazy ass buddy got. otherwise plenty of parking along that stretch the crack(fault) is almost 6ft high in some places. runs right across to oro I believe.

plenty of different ones at mec as well.

Yetmans sent me a 4 rod replacement set for my Quikfish3 before Christmas with a carrier for $17. Just ask them to use the cheapest one. Hub parts should be considerably cheaper. Just deal with them directly it will be quicker, got mine in about a week. BUT depending on the when you bought your tent, not sure if you registered, call Eskimo or email them and they will in all likelihood send you out warranty replacement parts. They did for me last year for a couple snapped rods. This year they sent me some odd part called hub adaptors when I informed them about some other snapped rods, which was when they put me on to Yetmans. PS the snapped rods I experienced were all due to some aggressive breakdown of the hut. It is overall a pretty good hut compared to others I have seen.

both rods I got were cheaper overall than LeBarons, who is almost always the lowest price. Trolling rod I switched over to Okuma for this season and paired it with their 20 convector reel

sounds like a great trip. Nice lakers I've had lots of luck with Lakers on a spro lipless but none ever take my rattlin rap though. -
don't worry guys. I haven't received mine either and I renewed 2nd week in Jan. Had a CO visit my hut this past weekend and showed him the paper receipt and he was fine, almost expected it. come and gone in 30 sec.

DEAL ALERT!! 50% off Mustang Integrity Floatation Coats
registerfly replied to SlowPoke's topic in General Discussion
so just got back from checking this jacket out. It is a fantastic price and if it's HST included even better. Still on sale as of today. It's rated buoyancy for a MED is 132-195lbs. and it is definitely not a short jacket, but not 3/4 long either, good in between length suitable for lots of getting up and down whilst ice fishing. Besides, you wouldn't want it to be longer especially if you want to pair it with a bib pant. For those that think they are an expensive store which, is another discussion all together, then don't shop there. (I personally don't know how they can survive with such a high sq footage and 4 brand new stores in 12 months) It's their business model so they can do whatever they like. OR do what smart shoppers do and buy what you want when they are on sale like I do. 40-50% off on certain clothing items since last fall. -
yep cleaned out the wheels on my wifes car. ice and snow build up

really, instructions needed to eat a wing?????
