I have a humminbird 596 HD DI and the down imaging is pretty good. With the colour and HD its has a pretty clear picture.

yep if you can wait hang back and wait til the season is almost over. Many will be looking to upgrade to the next best thing and sell off so they don't have to store for the winter.

What a weekend, envy here, thanks for sharing. All I can find so far this year are LMB, need some smallies with some fight.

we (my son and I) have many of both. I prefer spin, he baitcasters. I ask him what's the diff and he tells me it casts certain baits better. I reply I can pretty much cast the same with my spin and he goes phffht. to each his own I suppose.
