Yah, yah... Rock Bass... that's the ticket! HH

Me to Cliff! I believe it is also good for removing the smell of garlic from your hands. My wife thinks I have a thing for the kitchen faucet! Apparently, I'm rubbing it the wrong way! HH

Next time that you need a tow, don't ask this guy!

At least he had the common courtesy to create an new artificial reef with his helicopter! I wonder if the GPS points are available! HH -
After much threatening, arm waving and other horse manure, I managed to get a five year rate at 4.95% for my new house, from one of the big banks! If you work them, they will give you deals. HH

Happy B-Day Joey! And this year would be which anniversary of your 29th birthday? LOL Hope you had a good one! HH

I thought all Bass were flakes! Cold water Rocketino's can be very good, if you can ever get the stench they give off, off of your hands! Been a long time since I ate one though... hmmmm... may not starve to death after all! HH

I would have told her Jesus was a fisherman and was she insinuating that he was cruel and heartless? HH -

Great story, thanks for taking the time! Where's the pics? LOL HH -
If I had a buck for every thread I've read that specifically said "BTW... we like pictures" my new house would be paid for right now! Guys, it sounds to me like we are trying to create a black and white world in what is essentially very grey! Take your pics, show them or don't it's up to you! Those who have a problem with that, have other options available to them, including sites run by current OFNCer's ! Common sense is not something you get freely, you earn it! HH

My thoughts exactly Terry! I don't want to rain on your parade here, but I'm pretty sure that those Pike would have a better chance at getting to be much bigger if they weren't left on the grass/dirt. They're slippery buggers and can be a challenge to hold... practice make perfect! HH

The weather plays a major role in determining what insects are about and how "bad" they are. If it is a dry spring/early summer up there, then you'll see less black flys, but still see mosquitos, as usual, dusk and dawn. Keep an eye on the area weather and it should give you an indication of what to expect. As for bringing the bug suit... why not, it's light, takes up very little room and will be worth it's weight in gold, if your really need it! HH BTW - In the cabin, I use Gibson's Finest!

Hey Snog, I see and agree with your points here, however, I believe that your are preaching to the converted. I suspect that most of the members here are respectful and are not the cause of the pain you describe. All the same though, it certainly can't hurt to remind everyone and perhaps have our members remind those who are screwing it up for everyone else! It's a big city and many people fish. You can't reach them all, but I give you kudos for trying. HH

Not an expert by any means, just seem to recall my buddies 225 Opti has some throttle position sensor problems that acted very much like what you described. It would start, run for a bit, but would not rev up to high RPM's. He would get an alarm go off as well. His Merc would also continue to run, only up to around 1000rpms. Was told that it's a safety feature that Merc puts on the motor, save the motor and potentially saves the boater! Anyway, that would be something I would have checked! HH

I have a two level deck! Funny, but the wife wants me to take the power washer to it! And it's not even a Saturday! HH

Man, that looks like my tackle box! I spotted a "spina ditty", a tiny torpedo, some Bombers I own and well, it looks like they took a pic of my box! Either I'm loaded with the best gear in town, or I need to buy some new stuff! HH

Just got off the phone with a client located just north of Havelock... the black flys have emerged from the winter sleep and are very hungry! Heads up for all heading that way, bring your DEET! HH

With that much money invested in a boat, I'd consider the following; -build a dock! -rig up a "temporary dock" that can be moved Not so concerned about the sandy beach, but what will happen if you do pull it up on the beach and a few boats go by and their wake fills up the back of your boat... not that I know anything about that! When you arrive at the bottom, would you please point out where the fish are! :thumbsup_anim: HH

ch312... she firstly helped us to de-clutter! That was a job in and of itself! She then suggested a new kitchen floor, which I did, painting the unfinished basement section, which I did after sealing the wall with Top n Bond, priming and then two coats of paint. She also asked me to "clean up" the kitchen, which was tongue and groove. I sealed every crack in the walls, cabinets etc... (three and half tubes of caulking in the kitchen alone!) painted the kitchen top to bottom. Once we were painted and de-cluttered, she had her assistant paint my veranda, at her cost, she replaced two light fixtures in the house, at her cost as well! They then brought in her "staging" furniture, rugs, throw's etc... and dressed my house! That included, high back hairs, she bought a couch, floor lamps, bedroom lamps and on and on! My house looked like it belonged in a magazine! Well, it worked! My immediate neighbour with essentially the same house as mine sold it last October for $90k less than what I got! Their agent didn't do anything but list it! Another thing to consider; ensure your agent does not accept offers on your property until a specified date. This marketing strategy will create competition for your property and in turn, raise the amounts of the offers. HH

All I can say is thanks Rick! My mother went through the Alzheimers before passing and I know that there were a coupla times she got out on her own, in the middle of the night, only to be found and returned by a similarily kind soul. Thanks Rick! HH
