Thanks for the heads up Ketchenany! I'm doing the moving myself... the truck is rented, most of the "bodies" lined up, just have to get the rest of our stuff packed up and we're ready to go! Un-packing can be done over time... I can always fill up the garage, sit by the pool and take ten years to unpack! HH

As many of you may remember, my family and I will be moving into our new house at the end of June. I've been spending my lunch hours calling all of the folks who provide us with service, including, but not limited to utilities. Rogers was easy, no charges etc. Bell on the other hand, insisted that I am to pay a $55.00 fee, to get service in my new house. I escalated the call to customer service, by threatening to cancel my Bell service completely and go with VOIP (Rogers) and I would still get to keep my old number! They then moved my call to a group called Customer Retention. The guy on the phone was helpful, but could not wave the fee... but (after much arm waving by me) he did find that he could credit my account for $75.00 as a sign of good faith! It just goes to show that the squeaky wheel gets the grease! Now, today, I called Toronto Hydro to move my account to the new house. They want to charge me $30.00 to "open a new account". I said, nay nay! It's not a new account! She had already told me that they would wave the $400.00 deposit because I have had an account for 20 something years and had a great payment record! Apparently I should be thankful! Huh! SO I went on to tell her that it can't be a new account as obviously she had just told me that I'm a preferred customer! I'm still working on getting this fee waived, I'm told to wait 48 hours for a return call from a supervisor. Why does it always seem like the middle income guy, always gets the shaft! $30.00 here, a debt reduction cost there ($10.00 every two months) where and when does the little guy finally not get shafted by these MONOPOLIES Just thought I'd pass this along and hopefully save some folks some money! If you don't ask/insist, you will pay! HH

Be careful of mortaliy rates using wire on small bodies of water. If your planning on catch and release, you might want to re-consider. If yer huntin meat, why not give it a go? HH

Although I hate wearing the stuff, I do almost always carry "sweater in a bottle" or more commonly know as spf 40! You will still get a tan, just not one that turns into water blisters! Also, be aware that many bug repellents act like baby oil on your skin and attract the sun. Nothing says sun tan like baked in Muskoil! HH

I can't cheer for the Sens for a few reasons... I hate Alfredson... they play in Ottawa... and I hate Alfredson! Oh and did I mention that I hate Alfredson! As a life long Leaf fan, I simply can't cheer for any of our main rivals! If you really want to see fans in a pickel, and I know it can't happen in the finals, but if Ottawa and Montreal were playing each other in the finals, I'd watch the Jays! Simply can't cheer for either of them... makes my Leaf blue blood boil! HH Oh yah, I hate Alfredson!

Sweet report! Thanks for posting! HH

I use cedar "shakes" instead of planks! Can buy a bundle at Home Depot for under $5! Just be sure to buy the "east coast" cedar shakes as the are 10% of the cost of west coast "shingles"! HH

I've worked at the north tower of the Eaton Centre for the last four years... it is definately getting worse! There are so many scams going on around here, mostly targeting tourists and young people who just want to go buy something at the Eaton Centre, only to be accosted upon arrival! There is no political will to do anything about it... there's no money in it for the government! HH

Great lookin spotted Tarpon Clive!!!! Sweet shots and lookin forward to more! HH

I believe we were "enjoying" lower gas prices a coupla years ago, when there were significantly more independent stations around. They began the price war, which again, I believe was described as being a "market share" situation. Anyone notice that there are fewer and fewer independents left? Many were bought out by the biggins, which has kept the "price waring" down significantly. No collusion my behind! HH

Who's the king of Fresh Water? Muskellunge or Lake Trout?

I've caught dogfish aka Bowfin that have fought like a ..."SOT"! Biggest was around ten pounds and I was pretty sure I had a much larger fish on for the majority of the time it took to get a look at it! I can't imagine what kind of fight a 20lber would give! Also, I've caught some cats that just wouldn't give up! One day, I'll target Musky to compare! HH -

Can't help with the spray question, but you may want to consider "Bear Bells" as a deterrent as well! HH

Tony, that's what I was thinking, but after speaking with some electronics dudes, they suggested doing that could cause major phasing problems between the main speaker system and the sub. HH

Thanks for the link DouG! Unfortunately, it doesn't cover my concern. My Pre-Amp does not have a sub-woofer line output. If it did, it would be a no brainer. It has left and right line outs and I'm wondering how to hook a sub woofer to both left and right outputs, without creating phase problems. My sub woofer will be powered! Thanks for trying! Anyone else? HH

I have a question about hooking up a Sub-woofer to my main audio system. I have a Rotel Pre-Amp and Power Amp system, but the pre-amp does not have a "RCA" style out-put, specifically for a Sub. It has no sub-woofer outputs. It has four line outs, two of which are currently hooked directly to the main power amp. My question, how would you recommend hooking a sub woofer to this system. I'm really trying to stay away from running speaker cables from the main Paradigms to the sub. My concern being, if I buy a cable that has stereo rca's on one end and a single rca plug at the other, will I be looking at "phase" problems in the low frequency ranges? Does anyone have any other suggestions? Thanks for the help! HH

Go to Big Bay and troll small crank baits as close to the bottom as possible. Troll the length of the bay, downwind with planer boards and you'll do ok! HH

Holy weight loss program! Heck, who needs Jenny Craig when you can go on that program! Glad it went well for yah! HH
