My best guess would be Keith Richards was the man who paved the way to all smokers creating nicotine stains on their Telecaster! But again, that would be a guess! HH

Is that a Slammer Cliff! Nice basement set bud! Hours of fun without leaving the house!!! I am very impressed by the knowledge and players we have on this fishing board! We should have a jam night! Let's all meet a cliff's place! We can jam for hours, then hit a river for a nice late evening fish! HH

Hey Billy, I bet you and your sound man have had words!!!! Running two Marshall stacks is stadium level sound and it takes a really good sound man to balance that level of volume coming off the stage, for a proper front of the house mix. Your bass player must be running three to four Ampeg "fridges" to compete with that rig! Also, with the multi-affect pedals, I have to assume that you ran that through those Marshalls as well or were you comparing the sound through a different amp? Personally, I find the all in one systems to be much quieter than individual pedals and you also don't have to be concerned with bad patch cables and such. Oh well to each their own! HH ps... Doug, you can put a piezo in that beauty and listen to her squeal!!!

Truly a sad day for all Canadian Rockers! They were a must see band live, especially in a small bar setting, which I was fortunate enough to have seen numerous times. "Frantic City" is a Canadian Classic as far as I'm concerned. As a matter of fact, I had just pulled it out this past weekend and as always, enjoyed the raw energy that they exude. Well, I guess it is a "Nice day for a party, isn't it!" RIP Franky... show how to RnR where ever you are!!!! HH

Does it float or fly Wayne!!!! HH

Cool new toy!!!! I was looking at the Bass version, but a Raf says, pretty expensive! I'm on the market for a rack mount compressor, should anyone have one available. Enjoy that toy Blaque! Should prove to be a fun winter with that being in the house! HH

Do vote NDP if your desire is to be unemployed! Jack's mandated his party to stop tax cuts to big business, lower individual taxes (yah right) and put the burden of taxation onto business. Uhmm.. Jack, who do you think employs all the workers? Jack is a recipe for pain here in this country... BTW - had you read the Green Party's platform, you would know that they are fiscally CONSERVATIVE. Their plan, in a nut shell is to move the tax burden from the individual, at payroll source, to a carbon based tax, so more of a pay as you go situation than everybody pays, that we live with now. HH

Cliff, I heard that many times before... don't vote, no right to complain... but this is what I believe... if you pay yer taxes, you have all the rights you need to complain. Voting is not a requirement for whining! LOL Plan on hitting the polls on the way home from work tonight... eager to find out who we're gonna blame for our wows for the next little while! HH

Nice Largie! Congrats on the PB... uhmmm, what's with the "glove" holding the fish... I've only once met another "man" who used a glove to hold fish... he's still hearing about it! LOL HH

Agreed Bowslayer... on the up side, the drop in the Canadian dollar should have some executives re-thinking their moves out of Canada, as the lower dollar will help to increase profit margins... I HOPE!!!!!! HH

The bible also has a calculator for other pound test line... Hmmm, a double digit eye, an in-line planner board and a Mann stretch 30, 200 ft back... enjoy yer ten and twelve pound line boys... just hope that crank is set nicely in it's mouth... cause the slightest knick and say good bye to a $12.00 lure and an in-valuable breeder. With today's privacy issues, they would be hard pressed to get any info out of me! Good on ya Lew for sticking to yer guns! Folks, don't give your info to anyone, unless you know them and or trust them! And you folks out there who are seeking jobs and sending your resume out, please DO NOT PUT your birth date, or heaven forbid, your SIN on your resume! Heck, I've seen people post their resume with their B-day and SIN on Workopolis!!!!! That my friends in an invitation to identity theft! HH

Hey U.B.! I just bought a Panasonic 46 inch Viera and it has a suggested 30 year life span on the plasma, equaled to 8 hours of viewing per day, for the next 30 years! I believe that some strides have been made recently with regard to these "modern" screens, however I would have much rather purchased a good old tube TV instead, but could not find one!!!!! HH

I was walking through Sears yesterday and saw a guy setting up a Christmas Tree... I can't repeat what I said to him... at least not here! HH

I hope that smile you have stays today G. Stay strong and know there are many here for you. HH

Well G, I know that if you wanted my opinion, you would have asked for it! LOL I beleive that anything under 15lb test is too light for pulling inline boards! I defy anyone to prove to me that running lighter line does anything but create a situation where you will loose your fish and your lure, maybe your board and in turn, kill a trophy! The boards simply put too much pressure on your line and you will not have enough back bone left when that massive Sheep Head hammers your crank. HH

A man was fishing offshore in beautiful conditions. His first drop began with a 25kg Kingfish and the second produced a 20 lb snapper. On the third drop he had just scored his first ever Long tail tuna when his mobile phone rang. It was a doctor notifying him that his wife had just been in a terrible accident and was in critical condition in the intensive care unit. The man told the doctor to inform his wife where he was and that the he'd be there as soon as possible. As he hung up he realized he was leaving what was shaping up to be his best ever fishing trip. He decided to get in a couple of more drifts before heading to the hospital. He ended up catching several personal bests, and all in all, had his best days fishing by far. He was jubilant.... Then he remembered his wife. Feeling guilty he dashed to the hospital. He saw the doctor in the corridor and asked about his wife's condition. The doctor glared at him and shouted, 'You went ahead and kept fishing didn't you! I hope you're proud of yourself! While you were out for the past four hours enjoying yourself on the ocean, your wife has been languishing in the ICU! It's just as well you went ahead and finished the fishing because it will be more than likely your last!' 'For the rest of her life she will require 'round the clock care. And you'll be her care giver!' The man was feeling so guilty he broke down and sobbed . The doctor snickered and said, 'Just messing with you. She's dead. What'd you catch?' HH

To be honest Wayne, I would have bet good money that there would have been at least one mention of a drowned camera... HH

Dude... please tell me you are NOT eating fish out of the Thames!!!!!! You can get away with eating Pickereyes out of that river in the spring, but eating "resident" fish out of that river will not lead to long term health IMHO!!!! RE: eating "Silver Bass/White Perch... other will say differently, but I have tried them and would not do so again! HH

The area in and around Telegraph Narrows is usually a good holding area for smallies! As far as pike go, my only catches have been incidentals while trolling for Pickereyes. Most have been caught suspending over deep water, in and around schools of bait fish. HH
