  3. Thanks for the update Rick. As you say, there is a big GOOD NEWS and not so bad bad news. No thanks are necessary bud, just be well and get your butt up to Lakair in June. John...

  5. I experience free markets every day of the week. Although it is tough, we find new ways to stay in business. Thinking outside the box is a much overused terminology these days, BUT, it has enabled us to stay in the game when our much large competition has "taken their toys" and gone home! We have dramatically changed the way in which we do business. We have customers that our competition don't want to do business with, we manage them differently. We have areas where we do business where we have had to address new and different, (read cheaper and more efficient), ways to get our product to their market. We are supplying products that 10 perhaps even 5 years ago, we wouldn't have even dreamed of tackling. We have 1/3 of the employees that our competition had, before they pulled out.
  6. Dang that was good!
  7. Thanks so much Ron, a great read!
  8. Thanks one more time Drew. The narrative in your reports is amazing and your photography, is in my opinion, world class. John
  9. Let it go. If it's "almost to good to believe", chances are it is. Especially on an internet sale where he wants what amounts to essentially cash. I only buy online when I can buy either with PayPal or with Credit Card, via a secure site. Electronics are something that I would recommend having somewhere that will validate a warranty. J...
  10. It was too warm with the roof closed Brian. We made 'em feel too comfortable.
  11. Sincere, heartfelt condolences. Barbara & John
  12. Definitely go with the bean bag rather than the windshield mound Lew. Great system and nothing is drilled or damaged. J...

  14. Happy Birthday Rob, hope you are having a great one...
  15. Sorry Steve, most of us who know hockey also know that he is overpaid by probably 2M a season and that's if and when he keeps his mouth shut. His conduct off the ice erodes most of his remaining value to any team!
  16. This has absolutely nothing to do with the players value to his team on the ice, which is dubious. It has everything to do with disrespect to women, his team and to the sport of hockey. The man (subjective) is indeed a moron!
  17. Welcome aboard Twocoda.
  18. Sound words Rick. I have attended my fair share over the past year or so. Things are very quickly put into perspective.
  19. Welcome back Todd.
  20. You know basil too huh Roy....wonder what he's eatin'?
  21. Congrat's on an amazing fish and for having the gonads to post your accomplishment for all to see and appreciate. This and other boards unfortunately have their fair share of wannabee's and armchair quarterbacks who feel it their mission in life to criticise, pass judgement and request justification to their terms. Instead of being critics, perhaps getting out and putting in the countless hours of fishing, researching, studying etc... necessary, you may get the opportunity to post something like this yourself ('ves). No wonder some of us resist the temptation to post the highights of our season(s). J...
  22. I FISH ON FRIDAYS A husband and wife came for counseling after 20 years of marriage. When asked what the problem was, the wife went into a passionate, painful tirade listing every problem they had ever had in the 20 years they had been married. She went on and on and on: neglect, lack of intimacy, emptiness, loneliness, feeling unloved and unlovable, an entire laundry list of unmet needs she had endured over the course of their marriage. Finally, after allowing this to go on for a sufficient length of time, the therapist got up; walked around the desk and made passionate love to her.... as her husband watched with a raised eyebrow. The woman got up... and quietly sat down, as though in a daze. The therapist turned to the husband and said, 'This is what your wife needs at least three times a week. Are you up to this?' The husband thought for a moment and replied, 'Well Doc, sure, I can drop her off here on Mondays and Wednesdays..... but on Fridays, I go fishing.'
  23. Get well soon my friend. Wishing you a speedy recovery. John & Barbara
