Thanks for the tip. Are you talking about shore fishing in the fall; or, open lake trolling in the summer?

They have some of the best prices on salmon tackle.

I haven't been to this particular one before; but tackle swaps originated as a slightly larger versions of what you described. There is a lot of second hand tackle for sale by individuals. Some of the swaps also have some stores participating as well. If you have more tackle than you need (don't we all); and you want to get rid of some you could set up a table and sell some of your stuff... and use the cash to buy more stuff from other people there Since your dealing with individuals, not tackle stores, expect to pay cash.

Freshwater Dolphins return to Finger Lakes

Perhaps a reintroduction will be in order if asian carp ever establish themselves in the lake. -
It's not just home ice; it's who they play. The wildcard team will face the conference winner while the 2nd and 3rd teams in the division face each other. Finishing in the top three of their division gives them a reasonable shot at making past the first round.

Even if that worked, I think that you would still need to filter it.

It needs to have Canadian approval to be legal in Canada. If buy from the U.S., there is a risk that it may not be approved for use in Canada. It will still be safe to use; but it won't count towards your required one PFD for each person on board.

Looking at the standings, if the Leafs can beat Tampa in regulation time on Thursday, they are guaranteed a playoff spot.

I am not sure how many are around now, but I remember seeing one in Scarborough in the 90s.

That's the difference between a life jacket and a PFD. A life jacket is designed to keep your head above water even if you are unconscious. A PFD only provides floatation. Most non-inflatables are PFDs. I think the inflatiables are actual life jackets; but don't quote me on that.

I don't think you can make a generic statement about what percent below asking that your offer should be. In some cases their asking price may be reasonable; in other cases they may be out to lunch. If you plan to offer significantly below asking, then I would do some research and provide some evidence that their asking price is well above market value. If someone sent an offer that was way below what I was asking, I would probably just ignore them. But, if they sent some links to similar boats or other evidence of what the boat is really worth, I may be a little more open to discussing the issue.

In that size range, the Evinrudes are just rebranded Tohatsus; just like the Mercurys. For some reason, the Evinrudes were almost double the price of the other motors.

Are you suggesting that Matt is the kind guy that would stop cheering for his favourite team and start cheering for another one just because his old team wasn't doing very well?

Dolphins and Finger lakes in the same sentence gave it away for me. -
April 1st, 2003? Interesting anecdote from the link: Quote: You just had to be there! Professional walleye angler, Bill Kutka, tells the funniest fish attractant story you’ll ever hear. This is a true story that actually happened in a walleye tournament a couple years ago. First, a little background…. It seems that Preparation “H” ( that’s right, the hemorrhoid medication ) has gained a small following as a fish attractant. Kutka was totally unaware of this fact. At a major national tournament, Kutka was paired with an angler he’d never met before. They got out onto the water and the guy asks, ” So, have you heard about Preparation “H”? Kutka hesitates then responds, “Sure, I’ve heard about it.” “Works pretty good doesn’t it?” the guy smiles. Now remember, Kutka has no idea that Prep “H” has any use other than as a medication. Kutka pauses and then admits, “Yeah, I guess it works OK.” The guy smiles and in an exuberant tone asks, “You want me to put some on for you?” Well, needless to say there was a bit of confusion in the boat, but once they figured out what had happened, a good laugh was had by all. Hopefully, you’ve gotten a chuckle out of the incident as well!

The area of Ontario is over 415,000 square miles. 17,000 camera nights is roughly equivalent of having one camera for an area of 25 square miles for one night.

All smelt will be that small at some point. Even muskies and sturgeon start out smaller than that.

Hole shot can last a lot more that 2-3 seconds if the motor does not have adequate torque. Good hole shot is more important to me than the highest top end speed. It's not about compensating for anything; I just want my boat to be up on plane when I am driving it. Hasn't Honday been making four strokes for most if not all of those fifty years? I agree, there is a lot of down sides to allowing renters to use the boat.

Big win tonight. Andersen didn't seem any worse for wear coming off his injury.

You may be better off with a cable steer motor. They are more durable and give you more precise control of the motor. If you don't think that you will use spot lock, or other features that an iPilot/Xi5 gives you, then cable drive will be the better option.

Unless there has been a change to the product, the bar codes for old and new stock will be the same. It's up to the store to associate the correct price to a bar code; the supplier doesn't have to change the bar code for the store to charge a different price.
