I smoked cigars for a couple of years after I gave up cigarettes but had to quit the cigars also.I liked the Meharis Agio and the occasional Macanudo.The sure keep the bugs away in the summer but watch getting the smoke or Tobacco on you lures.BTW deer hunting success is much better without the stogie! Never a problem down here putting meat in the freezer.I take one a year ,doe or buck,makes no difference to me.The land here has been cut up into many 10 to 30 acre plots with some hunted and others not.The hunted acres are hunted by meat and horn hunters and with the range that bucks have management for trophies is not possible.The genes of a great buck can be passed on if the buck mates young and killed before he reaches maturity.Its too bad that more folks won't let them basket racks walk and take out a doe or spike instead of counting tiny points.Its a right of passage of sorts.First you get your first deer.Then you get your first buck.Then you hunt for that big buck.Then you enjoy the hunt and take what presents itself.Then you take a kid out and he gets his first deer.and so it goes.......

I use my right hand to reel on both bait casters and spinning outfits.I guess it goes back to the old Zebco 202 that I learned to fish with when I was a kid.There is no right or wrong way,just whatever feels right. Joe
