  1. Sorry for your loss, celebrate his life and memories, its what you would want your kids to do. Joe
  2. Not too bad, just a little too low brow for me,Im much more sofisticaterd..... Joe
  3. Cool stuff.Being a fellow plumber I am wondering what sort of repair was needed there.I cringe when I get a service call for a house from the 40 or 50's.Old stuff is tough to repair and a simple job can turn into an all day thing because it seems everything you touch crumbles in your hand. Joe
  4. I dont remember Indy as being that good of a race but today was a pretty good one.I pooched the pool AGAIN this week.I had Newman and Mac ..at least I had Tony to offset my losses.Too bad about the weather. Joe
  5. Good stuff Cliff, couldn't happen to a nicer guy.I would like to welcome you to the world of service work.Plumbing,HVAC,Mechanic and Farrier. Its all the same thing, know your trade and make the customer think that you are their "go to guy".You will do well and have a blast with it,dont know if Art or I will ever "retire"its too much fun to go to work each day.Best of luck and glad you landed on your feet(not that there was any chance of any other outcome). Joe
  6. I always use them raw.I keep them out of direct sunlight because if they get too much sun they deteriorate and are hard to put on a hook.Channel cats are more likely to be caught on fresh chicken liver. They are eating the liver for the blood, not so much the rotton smell. The mudcats or bullheads seem to like the rotton stuff.Blue cats are more often caught on cut bait, the oilier the better.Good luck, Joe
  7. Wasn't sure where this post was gonna go when I read the title.I would have liked to have seen that cat. Joe
  8. Great report.Surprised to see that many "wall-ice" caught after a week of GCD slaughtering them.To hear him talk I didn't think there were any left in all of Ontario.Seriously, good job.Too bad about the Steelers thing and all. Joe
  9. Happy to ya T-guy.Hope all is well down there in Gods country. Joe
  10. Looks like a stout boat, should serve you well.Thought Bernie would be involved when you said it was up north. Joe
  11. I wish they would do away with filters on them cancer sticks.I hate seeing them on the side of the road and in the water. The paper and tobacco will go back to mother earth very quickly but them filters take a long time. Joe
  12. Sokay Ger..I just reported it for ya. Joe
  13. Just may have been the best e-mail I have got this year.Thank GCD and Roy for sharing it here. Joe
  14. Very cool pic Bernie.I like the hat yer bro has on and his lilly white net boy cracks me up. Joe
  15. Very nice report.Thats not such a bad few days of fishing .Only 24 pike???Could hardly catch a bass for the pike there last time I fished there.Sounds like a great week! Joe
  16. *sniff sniff*I cant believe how our little guy is growing up.Happy to ya bud! Joe
  17. Was good to have a chinwag with ya in chat last night.Dont be a stranger. Joe
  18. I have the BPS brand in the boat also and use them as much as possible but it has been my experience that the Yamamoto version of the dead stick bait works better for me on most days.Seems to have a density or salt content or something that makes it different than the other baits I have tried.I will say that I have not tried very many other brands other than the BPS version and the tiki worm.I would like to try the strike king 3x version but all I have been able to find from them is a creature type lure.Very cool material they use.You can get a lot more mileage out of the senkos by using an O ring around the body and passing the hook between the o ring and senko if you are fishing it wacky. Joe
  19. Most knock offs work well when the Bass are turned onto them.I start with the real deal and switch to the knock offs if the bass are agressive. If the senko bite is light I use the smaller ones and it seems to work better.Good luck. Joe
  20. Hey Dawg..ESAD!I got yer Suzy Homemaker son!By the way, sounds like a good recipe but not too many 3 lb walleyes here. Joe
  21. Nice boat,I'm sure you will enjoy it. Joe
