  1. Yessir! That's a monkey off your back. Well worth a day in lieu of work.
  2. Check this thread out http://ontariofishingcommunity.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=69050&hl=%2Bsteelhead+%2Brod I ended up buying a SHimano Convergence for around $98 at CT. I like it!
  3. Good ol' Lenny. Everybody loves Lenny.
  4. nice walleye curtains!! Great start
  5. Matt-1, upset leafs fans-0. Hahaha. Now, go Sens! (I just puked a bit).
  6. Nice start. Like you, I'll miss opener, but I'm sure looking forward to the following weekend!
  7. Some I miss, some I dont' miss at all haha. lots of worthless rhetoric has been successfully removed by the mods. Just like some wrote on this thread, it's the internet, take it for what it is and go enjoy your real life outdoors!
  8. I hope not, I'll be getting me some bear spray this year as I plan on camping/walking in the bush more than usual.
  9. or bear spray at least. I'm not sure the statistics show that there have been more attacks since the cancelation of the spring hunt. Freak incidents will always happen, not sure anyone can blame this on politics.
  10. I've jumped on, but like Rich said, allegience to hockey teams is essentially meaningless. Leafs are entertaining me the most so I want them to continue playing. Now, IF the jets were playing that would completely change my bandwagon jumping habits! As much as I want leafs to win, I'd like to see Pens and Hawks in finals!
  11. " you can call yourself a chemist" bahahaha
  12. When I get on my computer tonight, I'll PM you a good spot to try, guaranteed there are walleye there too. And if your lucky, some sheephead too haha
  13. I was also happy with the Isles resurgence into being a good hockey club. Now its time (well past really) for the oilers to do something good!
  14. really hoping to see Pens vs. Hawks in final...but I don't know if the Pens can keep enough pucks out of their net to keep moving on. Earlier in this thread I called Fleury being shaky and pulled!...But I also made a bunch of incredibly incorrect predictions haha.
  15. Just harvested some for the first time this year! Lots of variance in maturity times in the North Bay area. Some areas are ferned-out, while others are a week away from starting. Not sure if it was posted here already, but this is a good preparation instructional
  16. I like that news release, sounds like the MNR is farming the area for science... It's not necessarily going to fix things quickly, but good science will allow for better management of lake Nipissing, including water quality, shoreline use and water levels. The squeeky wheel gets the grease; I'm glad that everyone is calling attention to the lake, it should result in better things.
  17. Sweet! REALLY hope I can get into some silvers this spring as well. I guess you won't be selling all your gear just yet? haha
  18. winter 2014 is almost here...enjoy your spring-fall season while you can.
  19. Ugh...dead bloated cow. haha you see/experience some weird stuff Mike.
  20. Yup, there was a big "they think they are more important than us?" attitude this year.
