I've taking unofficial holidays starting today... but I'm still on call, so I could be anywhere between tonight and New Years. Hopefully i'll be with familly, as planned.

Forward good...reverse is grindy. I'm happy with the sled but I'm worried about the reverse function in the chaincase. I gotta get that looked at soon.
The snow banks are tiny and fluffy right now, it's tough to load the sled back into the truck.

Good luck out there. For your first few trips I'd recommend following other peoples tracks first. Not only will it lead to you potentially good fishing spots, but you'll also be confident it's safe.
Stop in at a few local tackleshops and talk to the shopkeepers, they'll be able to help with the area and local regulations. I'm sure they'll be more than happy to help if you mention your just getting into the sport.
