  1. What hen wouldn't want him? Great fish!
  2. There is a native population of land locked atlantic salmon nearby. (Only one in Ontario) The season is only open for one week each year... I'm hoping to try that some day.. Catching one would be a huge prize
  3. Incredible fish!!! Love the pics and the thread title.
  4. Your bouncing all around the province catching walleye hahaha. Great times!
  5. Grow Habs Grow. hahaha. With their defense situation, I'm not sure they'll be able to rally a playoff effort this year.
  6. Success! 20 inches is a good size walleye in my eyes.
  7. Wow! So sorry to hear about your loss. I've never had a flu shot myself... this story makes it likely that I never will.
  8. Looks like a top-notch day weather and fish wise.
  9. Amazing day! Wish that was me catching those huge walleye.
  10. Fishing- the ultimate kind of therapy! Great photos. You caught some very nice fish there!
  11. A good host, a good guide and good company.
  12. Well worth it for sure. Beautiful specimens you have there... dinner will be a treat.
  13. Your right... so Upper Canada is also owned by Sapporra not Molson.
  14. From Wikipedia: Canada's beer production has been mainly under the control of foreign multinationals. By the end of 2006, nearly 90% of beer sales was of product brewed domestically under license from non-domestic corporations. American beers brewed under license dominate much of the market. For example Budweiser is brewed under license in Canada by Labatt's and Coors Light by Molson. The market in Canada for domestic beer is dominated by Labatt, Molson and Sleeman, all foreign-owned companies. The largest Canadian-owned brewer, Moosehead Brewery, controls about 5.5% of the Canadian market. -Moosehead beer is $39.50 for 24 bottles. -Fully Canadian -Creemore is $42.95 for 24 bottles. - owned by Molson which merged with Coors. -Steamwhistle is $43.95 for 24 bottles. -Keiths is $39.95 for 24 bottles.- owned by Labatt which is owned by Anheuser-Bush. -Muskoka premium lager is $43.95 for 24 bottles. -upper canada is $29.95 for 24 bottles. - Owned by Sleeman, which is owned by Molson Canadian beer is EXPENSIVE! I usually spend 27-32 per case. Moosehead is our largest fully Canadian brewing company... so I guess I'll have to learn to enjoy it and drink it modestly. haha Thanks for the reminder Bigugli. I wish it were easier to buy Canadian.
  15. I just drove by that place a couple days ago... too bad I missed the action. That's one massive bull
  16. My first thought, too. That thing is in mint condition.
  17. Agreed. I'm looking forward to my seasonal perch harvest. I didn't know you could dismantle perch rather than filet them.
  18. We have found our Mob leader Unless your much bigger than them, touching their gear could be asking for trouble. They are buttheads however, so they deserve it... anyway, no point in me preaching your own safety. I would call your local MNR and get an email address where you could send the pics and report.
  19. That's really good for your first time targetting musky... Must be a natural talent.
  20. I wish I could have some moose burgers/steaks too. Nice catches!
  21. That's great customer service from St Croix. I wonder if Fenwick would be so kind to me (Probably not) canada post is great, one of the few places that doesn't rip us off at the counter. Purolator and FedEx are in it for corporate greed, not to provide a service.
  22. Look at that, you might be right Dr. Sal. The cat in the OP's pic looks smaller. Awesome photos Blair! We were never able to capture the lynx's up close.
  23. I was up in Geraldton today but I didn't bring my rod... Probably a few lakes likes that up there I could have hit. Great stuff Simon... Tasty din din
  24. Two years ago, a lynx showed up at my parents window and looked directly at me from 10 feet away. I was in disbelief and completely blown away. This was 5 mins from downtown north bay. Beautiful cats! Nice pic.
  25. Great report! Those are beautiful specks. I love the off roading photo in the mud/rain! Doesn't get better than that
