That's pretty neat. Those look hardly used at all. I like seeing vintage fishing equipment thanks. Pidge

Just curious, but do you burry any of it or just place it on the ground? I've heard of this method before and was also curious of any advantages over using rocks. Pidge

Remember when they used those in vacuumed cleaner hoses. Maybe they still do? Try a vacuumed repair place. Might score some freebies. -

John's Lake Fly In: 3 Dads + 3 Kids = A TON Of Fun!

My God some awesome looking pics. Wow! That looks insanely nice. Brainstorming myself how to get a few guys up to a place like that next summer. Thanks. Pidge -
As mentioned above Burleigh Falls. Google Burleigh Fall Resort, although I believe the ownership changed along with name, but Google will help you. Lots of islands up there, but some are barren and some to thick with trees. If you can map "hells gate" there's a few islands I've seen campers on up at that spot before. Good fishing up there, but beware of the hidden structure on that lake as outside the channel markers can be a skegs worst nightmare. Pidge

That's a pig! Nice one. To the Habs fan..I use some scent stuff like the chap stick kind...when the fish strikes I give it a full 2 seconds, maybe 3 and then set the hook. I struggled for years as well with the hook set on frogs, but if you pause and let him have it you should be good to go. I know it's hard to resist the hook set when the water breaks, but let them take it. Try it next time your out. Good luck. Pidge.

Pinhole in gas tank any experience with products on the market?
pidge replied to leaf4's topic in General Discussion
Don't use JB Weld. I tryed it and within a few days the gas ate through it. Just sayin. I need up buying a new one. Pidge. -
I thought so to. Liked the "wave" scene with the kelp or seaweed. Pretty neat.

Bloody hell that moves! I always had a soft spot for the old motors. The chrome, simplicity, paint etc. always like stopping by those guys from a club that set up shop at the sportsman show and such to show there restorations and such. Nice stuff.

Dose anyone know where I can get these soft 7" worms? I've had them maybe 2 yrs., but have produced great and I don't see them at any potential fishing shelves ie: Can.Tire, Bass Pro, WalMart etc. here's a few pics. I can't find a name on the old packaging surprisingly. Any idea?? Thanks. Pidge.

Cool story man. Wish I could stumble about a fella like that. I enjoy his show as well.

Hmmm wonder if it could be the one I spotted 2 years ago just a hair north east of Oshawa? I was out doing work by myself in a hydro corridor and one leaped outta the scrub brush about 30 meters from me. All alone, it scared the crap outta me. It lept one way and I ran the other. Quite the experience and something I don't wana encounter again. Talking with a fella a year later about it and he had mentioned he had his shop in that area and one was in the yard one morning. Eye opening for me.

Nice photo. From last night I'm assuming? If so I was wishing for a telescope or the likes myself. Moon appeared really clear. Nice work.

Thanks Bigbuck and McDougy. I'm gonna leave it to pros. Normally I would goof with it, but time dosent allow it right now. Hopefully it's a cheap fix as the motor is in pretty good condition otherwise. Thanks. Pidge.
