  1. Looks like Mercman and Skeeter will be adding to their tackle selection.
  2. For sure not. But Roy knows.
  3. Hey Shad, I stood up for you the other day but now you're pushin buttons. You need to chill.
  4. No need to freak out Paul. There are a number of 'survivors' on this board. Some know, some don't. Some are multiple century, some are not. I think/know you are one of us. You just need to let your mind go free and clean. You should sleep well tonite and pm me in the morning. Slayer
  5. It's truth Paul. News just took a while to reach us back then. I remember building a Cathederal.......
  6. It was no different in the 15th century as I remember.
  7. Beagle Dad, Any friend of Cliff's is a friend of mine. Welcome aboard! p.s. Mrs. Slayer says I can't have a beagle 'cause I have a grandaughter now. Cheers Pikeslayer
  8. Hey Dann, What are you doin in the city? It was a great day!! Great company and great weather. It would of been nice to boat more fish, but at least you added more inches for team 2.. :wallbash: Cheers
  9. Congrats AA, Two big firsts in one day. A big king and a double header . So how much were the knees knockin? Where do you launch from? I am out of PC. Slayer
  10. Umm, there is no problem here Shad. You can ask all you want. Some members will choose to help you, others well... Here's my quick 2 cents; Spincasters are ease to use and are sufficient for most applications. Baitcasters are less easy to use but definitely enhance your casting accuracy and ability once you have mastered them. I'm pretty sure some of our more experienced members have much to add. Slayer
  11. Hey Joey, Awesome fish and nice upgrade for team 2. As for the GOSD tickets, i dont buy them anymore as i have too many guests on the boat and sure as shootin, i know I'd land a prize fish with non ticket holders on board (disqualified). BTW, Where do you guys launch from? I'm out of PC 2-4 times a week. Cheers, Slayer
  12. And two years later, Cliff introduced me to the electric Rapala (thx Cliff) Other than the sliced middle finger of my right hand ( they are very sharp!) I am extremely happy with it. I will probably clean close to 200 lbs of fish this year. Pike, salmon, rainbows & walleyes. I've pretty much mastered everything except y bones so far. Slayer
  13. After all that my son still looks at me and says " Dad when can we go do that again, it was a lot of fun!" I love that kid and it just goes to show all they really want is to spend time with us, no matter what. Here are some pics from the weekend. And that my friends, pretty much sums it up :thumbsup_anim: Slayer
  14. And here I thought you were offering up yourself to a good home?? Yep, why not take two? Double the fun, chewing and poopin.
  15. Third Line, oakville? <_< . PM sent. Be sure to read it!!! Slayer
  16. The Peel Police Marine unit out of Port Creditl/Promenade Park are first class . They do in fact check boaters at the ramp and issue windshield stickers/tags for the boating season. I place mine prominently and once it's on the boat, I have never been checked/inspected a second time in the same season. Slayer
  17. "originally $499.99" is somewhat misleading. The "regular" price is listed as $299.99. http://www.basspro.c..._BOEbq5B8cIh6NW Still a deal I suppose but not quite the "incredible one time offer". . Just my 199 cents (regularly 499 cents) worth. Slayer
  18. "boat launch etiquette" is an oxymoron. Slayer
  19. Nice work Andrew. . Slayer
  20. Yep. Just looked at the lake on my handy dandy navionics app. Pretty ugly water. Slayer
  21. Dang!!! That sucks Paul. <_<. You might want to try marinating the prop. Slayer
