That was a pleasure to read, beautiful pictures, great company except for the characters on the shore, glad u rose above them and not let them ruin the day. Most importantly glad your son had a great birthday.
Look forward to more of your reports.
Awesme report, looks like one happy newbie, pretty soon your son will be posting his own threads here.
Time spent with your kids priceless, the rewards unmeasureable.
WOW that put a tear in my eye for good reason, when we laid our daughter to rest 11 years ago at hwy 7 and Islington . As the minister was speaking a Cardinal was belting out the most beautiful song and I mean belting it out but obviously I was not in the mood to look and see where the bird was.
I like to think the angels were using that birds voice to celebrate her life.
Who knows maybe that was the bird, that warmed my heart, thanks man.
Basskicker I thought I was looking at my fishing lake lol
Chris is on the right track, but in addition make a trench of sorts leading out about 15 feet from your hut then drill a hole , this will help the water drain away from your hut, but check it frequently as temps go up, nicely constructed huts, and love that tonka truck, cool
Joey you are like the top performers on Dancing with the Stars.
Your photographs continue to go beyond greatness.
You seriously need to create a thirty hour day so you have some spare time to publish a book, and I want the first autographed copy.
How or better ...where do u take these pictures, in your yard ..on fishing trips...........I have a passion for photography as mentioned but I have to get a better camera,,,,,you truly create images of living art, you put a smile on my face every time I see them.

Beautiful fish, , my son took a quick look at them an initially he thought they were whities, until he opened both his eyes. lol, nice post, i'm going to research those.
I told you there are some great people on the board, used to live in Barrie but moved a year and a half ago.
I have a pic of my first fishing rod at 4 years of age,,,,,a sucker branch off one of my dads pear trees, some line a hook and some worms from the garden, but I was lucky the humber river was right behind the house.
Fishing is more than just catching, its exciting to learn about rods tackle types of fishing, learning species, maybe volunteering etc, your out experiencing nature and enjoying the company of others who share similar interests, best of luck.
