  1. Here is a highlight package for the changes in the regs.http://www.mnr.gov.on.ca/stdprodconsume/groups/lr/@mnr/@letsfish/documents/factsheet/stdprod_101636.pdf
  2. All that in 3 and a half minutes? Man you work fast Simon. LOL Great job. We have one in our back yard but it is a kit from Canadian Tire. It is called EZ Rink if anyone is interested.
  3. Get the bill of sale to say "Sold as-is" or "for parts" then the seller can put a nominal amount like $200-$500. Geoff is right though if it is a 2010 600cc bike/sled then they wont accept $500 as the sale price. Other thing is if you buy a boat on a trailer then only the trailer is transferable so get the bill of sale to say $100 for the trailer (boat and motor can be any amount). Trailer can also be registered as home-made so registration/ownership is not as important as it is on a sled/bike.
  4. Merry Christmas y'all.
  5. He is only allowed to drive it around the shack. Never goes off the lake and never out of eye sight. We have had OPP and C.O.s around and they never said anything. It may not be legal but it is minimal risk if any. Now if he was on a 800cc sled ripping around then I am sure it could be a problem.
  6. Spent an hour with Randy and checked out the Man Cave. Looking good.

I was gonna say.. you stopped at Randy's and you could leave. Thought it was the hotel california..

  7. Sold my 1993 Skandic II 503R and picked up a 1988 Tundra LT. I will miss the pulling power but my 10 year old will love driving it around at the hut. The 503 was too heavy for him.
  8. I believe Loon Lodge also has day huts with accomodations if you want to go that route. From what I understand you are allowed to stay in the huts as late as you want then head back to your cottage, so catching Ling would not be an issue.
  9. Careful Chad, Nipissing regs are 25 Perch per day with a possession limit of 50.
  10. IMO (working in the field) there are way worse thing in the water of the Grand River then artificial sweeteners.
  11. I will say 5-8 games. I don't think he has been suspended before.
  12. Nick, the electrical tape will not hold up in the cold water and cold weather. Buy yourself the waterproof duct tape and it will work.
  13. Joey, reports were confirmed today of 5" of solid ice on Wasi Lake today.
  14. Since my boys were born (10 and 4 now) my celebrating has changed. It is all about them now. Best memories are our family Christmas trees from up North. You all know the "Charlie Brown Tree". Well......the Buchmann tree was worse. My grandpa, or my step dad, would travel along the Northern highways in search of a tree that would never be chosen for Christmas. I remember a few that were so skimpy and weak we selectively put the lightest ornaments on it then doused it with a couple boxes of tinsel on it. It was always the laugh of all our buddies. 2nd good memory will not sit well with all of you, but in Kirkland Lake there were a few bars that were open on the 25th. After supper it was off to the Miner's Inn and we would stay out boozing until 3am.
  15. This is what Lake Nosbonsing looks like today. 2"+ at shore.
  16. Welcome back Alex. My offer to you will always stand. If you want to come fish Nipissing you can stay at my house with my family and we will take care of your food and accommodations. Just let me know when. For those of you that don't realize how modest Alex is, he is a heck of an angler and he laid a beat down on all of us at the Nipissing gtg. Blair
  17. South Shore Ice Condos
  18. I sold my 1993 Ski-doo Skandic II 503R last week and replaced it with a 1988 Ski-doo Tundra LT 250cc. I am looking forward to breaking some trails into back lakes this winter.
  19. Almost 55". I missed that.
  20. No Bernie, I recognise that tree there, and it is definitely the other side of the lake.
  21. My buddy (clients) has boated 100s of muskie on Nipissing including over 60 this year. I believe he has yet to get a 55"! He has a few that were 54+" but 55" and up have eluded him.
  22. Thanks Roy.
