  1. Very nice.. What model is it you bought? If you need a good pilot just pm me.
  2. Right on Wormdangler. I'm happy for you. Heres a little tip... On the day you take posession go and make sure all of your fixtues work, furnace a/c, oven stove elements etc, light switches and any thing that doesn't make note off and give to your agent. All these should be in working condition, on day of posession. Best of luck with your new home.
  3. I think the Sens have a bit better chance to win this series. The pens are barely playing, if playing .500 hockey in there last 12 games or so.
  4. The Sens will be playing desperate hockey in this series for sure. They are still stinging what happened to them last time they met the Pens in the first round.
  5. Nice fis. Any Northern 40 or over is a trophy in my books.
  6. If I click on the back arrow nothing happens. If I double click I end up back at the homepage.Had probs yesterday with my replies not getting posted. Anyone else having the back arrow problems?
  7. Nice twigs Solo, I plan on using Rainshadow blanks for my first few builds. Not the RX8 blanks though. RX6 for me because there way cheaper incase I mess them up. Just curious how they work out for you. Can you give us an update on there action when you break them in? Nice work Speil, very nice.
  8. I recall reading that about Mobil 1. Thanks for the info on airplane engines Wayne. Does the Verado 200 have an oil filter? I know alot of guys including myself that won't run Merc oil in our Mercs because we have come to the conclusion that there are much better products on the market to safegaurd our engines. Nothing out there gets as abused as a tourney bassboat engine. There off or w.o.t. I see it in tourneys all the time with engines blowing up. And if you ask the guy what kind of oil he uses it's usually just plain old oil or Merc or whatever make there engine is. My engine is 10 yrs old and still running strong. As soon as my warrenty was up I switched to Amzoil. Last year I had my head gaskets changed (Preventative maintenance)and my mechanic could not believe the condition of my heads when he had them off. He said they still look new. same as my piston tops no carbon deposits.Engines three yrs old using factory spec oil are loaded with carbon everywhere. Ive see the exhaust completely plugged with carbon on engines using factory spec oil. Just my opinion. I use Amzoil in my truck, gennie, lawnmower etc. And no I'm not an Amzoil rep. But I have seen first hand what factory spec oil does to high horsepower engines.
  9. Sorry Wayne but your not gonna change my mind on this one. Hope ya don't use plain old oil in your plane. And use what they reccomend Roy when your still under warranty then change, so if your motor was to grenade they can't blame it on the oil you used.
  10. Rolands the man... Now theres a dude I would like to spend a day bassin with.
  11. Nice twigs Solopaddler. Those Rainshadow blanks are sweet from what I have heard. That is what I am going use on my first builds for myself. Probably not the RX8's though. IM6 blanks for my first few builds incase I mess them up. I'm curious to know how they work for you, can you keep us updated? Nice work Speil, really nice.
  12. Two of my buddies just sold there Smokercrafts because of rivet problems. The dealer would repair them and they would start leaking somewhere else. They are only going on three years old. Sylvan are made by Smokercraft so your call there. I had issues with Princecraft 20 yrs ago honouring there warranty but there boats are much better now. My brother has a Pro 166 I think it is and he really likes it. Tracker are junk as far as my buddies say who have owned them. I would seriously look at Lund if I were buying a new aluminum. They must make a fish/ski model. Expect to dig deeper in your pockets though if you want a Lund. Tough decision.
  13. I would use the Amzoil, it exceeds all the Merc specs and is cheaper and in my opinion a better product.
  14. I would run synthetic, just use the proper viscosity.
  15. I would shop around for one that is 2 or 3 yrs old and lightly used. You could save a fair chunk of change rather than buying new.
  16. From what i've read on Northern Pike they don't nest to lay there eggs like a bass or a Walleye does. I watch them here every spring in one of my favorite Pike bays and they swim in the flooded shoreline and deposit there eggs in various places. The eggs have a sticky membrane on then that sticks to the first thing it makes contact with. Usually flooded brush in this particular bay. The males are not to far behind and they fertilize the eggs after she moves to another spot and the eggs are left unattended. They usually stay in the bay till they recover and not much else comes in there to have a snack of free eggs, like a Rock Bass or other Sunfish because they will be eaten. This bay in particular has three small creeks entering it in various places and in the spring these creeks attract large amounts of baitfish because of the warmer water running out of the creeks into the river. Once the season opens I hit these shallow bays and sight fish for them, but they are hard to catch when they are in post-spawn mode. They seem to not have a very good appetite. I have followed them around the bay and throw everything that a Pike would usually hit and sometimes nothing works, not even a nice live sucker is good enough some times. But throw them a dead sucker and they will usually take the offering.
  17. Thanks John. If your ever up this way let me know and we will get out for a bit of bassin.
  18. I think they are shedding there winter hair. Saw a couple of does in my backyard today and they looked pretty scruffy.
  19. Wormdangler, I hope everything works out for you. I am sure your Realtor is busting his butt to get this issue resolved for you. I hear people slagging realtors all the time as crooks etc. But most of the time they are just repeating something they heard from someone else. Most people in the general public have no idea what a Realtor has to do to get there license and retain it. It comes up for renewel every two years and if you haven't taken your update courses and other courses to achieve the amount of credits required you will not get renewed it doesn't matter how long you have been in the business. I have one more exam to write before I embark on a new career in Real Estate and I can hardly wait. I just hope there are people like John in the brokerage where I decide to work. And I'm sure there will be.
  20. Kind of looks like an institution of some sort. Not a house.
  21. I agree with Radnine, its a marketers dream to have you buy a stick for every specific types of fishing. Don't get me wrong when your flipping largemouth or fishing musky you need the appropriate gear but vertical jigging and dropshotting and any other finesse fishing can be done with one rod maybe two. My fishing partner probably has 30 rods and reels at 4 to 500.00 a pop and he doesn't catch any more fish than I do, but he's always in my terminal tackle looking for something. Wonder why, hehe.
  22. The 300 Curado is a true workhorse of a reel. You get what you pay for as they say.
  23. STREN SUPERBRAID for me. Once you guys try it you will never use anything else. It's just hard to find sometimes. And when you do it's a little pricey at 25.00 a spool. Power Pro sucks but they spend the bucks on advertising to reel you guys in.
