  2. WOW!!!! I'm not worthy!!! Fantastic FAT fish there Ben! Incredible collection of muskies there
  3. I have seen that commercial many times as well...and I cant remember a single time where I had a bird's nest from casting a spinning reel... My baitcaster on the other hand....
  4. I'm so sorry to hear this news and my condolences go out to you, your family and all that called him a friend. He fought hard for a long time and he is at rest now, free of his pain and suffering. I lost my dad to cancer a long time ago...and my mother just this past March. I am glad I was there for their peaceful last breath as well. Take care.
  5. Way to go! Some amazing fish and pictures there I wish I could go out more often....until I can I live vicariously through reports like this!!
  6. It was great seeing you again Will! Good on you for trying something different....it sure paid off! Lincoln....nice 12 pounder there!!,
  7. Another awesome report Chris! I really hope I get down there again before it freezes up!
  8. I've often said when fishing early morning that a floating "Tim Horton's" that operated from sunrise til about 11am would be a sure money winner! LOL If business was "slow", you could jig for fish
  9. Just in from the Quinte trip and saw this thread. Hope you had a great birthday Lew!!
  10. Was slow for our group too, but fish boated every day.....one got a 12+ pounder....fishnsled to post later Winds were high but changed a lot during the day even though it wasn't forecasted to. By Sat evening there was no wind to speak of for 2 hours. This morning winds were 40km/h but by noon it dropped so it was quite fishable.
  11. WOW!! Monster fish!!! I just went to the ofah weight caluclator...and a 54" muskie would need have a girth of 34" to weigh in at 69 pounds. Either way, it was a fish of a lifetime!
  12. Weather permitting Will, we'll be out there for one last stab at them!
  13. VERY cool underwater release video! Some nice fish and time spent with a good friend. Doesn't get much better than that!
  14. Yep...when you are talking Bell vs Rogers it's the lesser of two evils. What it came down to me was price.... I'm prepared for equally crappy customer service!
  15. Chop?? LOL 55 is a little breazy
  16. I've heard of them before, but have never seen then in action. Amazing they can travel that far out of water to escape predators!! Enjoy the video! <embed src="http://www.ebaumsworld.com/player.swf" allowScriptAccess="always" flashvars="id1=82014654" wmode="opaque" width="567" height="345" allowfullscreen="true" />

  23. Great to see you guys getting into the fish like that!! Wish you were closer or I'd be there all the freaking time.... ....probably best it's not....LOL Great job guys!
  24. No chance at that HH. All good here Oh...and to add one more...I never eat fish the day before a trip. You never know if the fish you are catching can "smell" fish death on your breath and stay away...LOL.
