So when people say I'm terrible at fishing and that I'm bad luck and I agree with them, it means I'm a good fisherman?

Not a lot of things that required effort that weekend! Was the first beer I opened after we arrived..the rest were chilling in the fridge! Hey now! We actually all had our own rooms.....smart

It snowed.... So we did a lot of this.... Fishnsled and I were the only ones that fished...for 2 hours on Saturday... Then it got cold... We did more of this.... Then we drove home. As was already mentioned...it's not all about the fishing...and this past weekend we relaxed a little, drank a little, ate a little, jammed a little, played a little cards, watched a little bit of TV, and apparently slept a LOT!! LOL. Thanks once again for a great weekend guys!!

I had a great time as usual up there! Always a ton of laughs, good food and great times. Thank you once again Bernie for putting up with us! I have a few scenery pictures to upload and will do so soon....and fishnsled has the pic of the ginormous fish I caught

The active ingredient is d-trans allethrin I believe. That is an insecticide and not a repellent. They say it repels them, which I suppose if you count when you spray a spider with bug spray it tries to run away repelling them, but ultimately any derivative of permethrin kills insects. It does work though....it's pretty much the same thing as a classic mosquito coil, but it's more portable and u won't burn yourself carrying it around. This product uses butane to heat up a pad that is impregnated with the insecticide. The smoke that comes from it is the insecticide.

I think it's low key because it's a phase one clinical trial... "Phase I trials: These first studies in people evaluate how a new drug should be given (by mouth, injected into the blood, or injected into the muscle), how often, and what dose is safe. A phase I trial usually enrolls only a small number of patients, sometimes as few as a dozen" It's not measured on it's ability to cure the disease...it's basically to see if it's even safe for humans. One a drug or treatment hits phase three, people get a little more excited about it as it's been shown to be safe in humans and has shown that it can do what it's been designed to do...and has a much bigger sample set of data. Regardless of that, I hope that it's something that can help save lives one day!

Dan...every time I see those Brookies I look up flight prices to your area! It's hard to believe it will cost me more to fly there than it did for me to fly to Edmonton!! Fishing with you in your neck of the woods is on my bucket list. Great pictures of a great year it seems.

Cliff We'll talk about buying power and retail margins from my perspective on Saturday. It would be a tough go to say the least, however it's not impossible given the Internet these days!

It was hilarious that we even trying to get out! Shawn, we went to the Duffins launch too, but its chained off. EC1...I'm hoping for some Simcoe whities and lake trout softwater this January! Merry Christmas to all!
