  1. I just flip through my Beatrice milk crate Cliff and decide which one I want to throw on the platter !
  2. Yep.... my step father can't even comprehend why we spend hours out fishing and then let them go. Fishing was "invented" as a food source.
  3. I think every 1/2 ton I've owned.. GMC or Ford ... since 1995 has had P rated tires on it.. Goodyear Wranglers.. Michelins.. Ameritracs.. The only time the tire shop went "we should have put LT's on that" was when I told them I plow with my '98... for the stiffer side walls of an LT to carry the blade weight.
  4. They're great steaked... I'm told... We have bass fishermen that think we shouldn't be able to keep those either. Be careful what you ask for...
  5. Probably has more to do with the massive die off of pigglets from the virus going around.. than the price of feed.
  6. Finding that they actually come in both colours as Mickey Mouse now.. and why I asked... so be careful shopping ebay based on $ value.
  7. Are yours the "Mickey Mouse" Dave... or the full -70 deals?
  8. That was last year Drew.. not the year before. Wind was a good 70K and we were set up right in the middle of the NE Arm..
  9. Haven't even bothered starting the plow truck... there's no point! I've shovelled the doors and walks 5 times since noon though. Looks like 4 or 5 hours in the plow truck come morning... Radar forecast doesn't look bad after 7pm... but considering the wind just changed to out of the N/West I'm not gonna have much faith in that with a wide open lake. Hey it's Canada...
  10. Lexxington is the king of pop up anchoring !!
  11. Hope they paid cash at the start of the charter!
  12. I think he "heard" something else when asked the question... poor bugger!
  13. There's a large number of farms in the Arcona / Forest area that have nice solar arrays.. and have been forced to sell the family farm because of them and their cost. Remortgaged to get on board because of "snake oil salesmen" and then no lines or capacity to be hooked in. Good for the wheat farmers that use their land now.. not so much for the families that had to sell.
  14. Always.. get over it!
  15. It's actually Dellen Millard... but we're getting away from the OP's thread. Had a life handed to him and his father (Wayne) tried to keep feeding him funds.... even though his father (Dellen's grandfather) had worked extremely hard to build an empire, Wayne seemingly ran it into the ground. Sad when your own kid kills you for insurance money and uses the family hangar to store / strip / export stolen goods. There's much more to the story unfortunately and it will all come out in time.
  16. FRABIL.. FRABIL... cook me up some BRATS Pete.... John's a good lad, in moderation eh Marc! lol
  17. Exactly Steve.. I still have my Radio shack cells from 1976, from my solar town project that took me to the Canada wide science fair in Victoria BC. Three of those panels back then wouldn't charge a 1.2 v AA battery! Todays technology in a similar size would charge your car battery.
  18. Not sure for a max $1600/yr, by the sound of their website, I'd be letting anyone drill mounting holes in my roof!
  19. If you don't need the money, as is evident that you want to reinvest at todays piddly GIC rates.. why would you sell ?
  20. Yep Terry... that's my biggest fear. Listing low price stuff just to have someone come for a "good look around". I'll take the fridge, stove, dryer, etc that I have had for sale here in the classifieds to the scrappers first..... before I'll list on Kijiji.
  21. Chip chip.. walk... chip chip.. pull the rope back bud I'm sinking. What it's all about... lol Just do it safely.
  22. $100 an hour + parts doesn't go far in this day and age. A rag in the vice... would have been nice !
  23. Total Coliform... or E Coli... two different things! The first at 2 is acceptable... the 2nd one is not!
  24. Just don't say whats his name
