  1. You still haven't told us how the tires are wearing Matt ! Edges chewed... entire tread worn... bald spots? Bald spots = your brakes locking up.
  2. If you ever needed some tools... CTC is the place to be tomorrow. $100 screw driver set for $19. 119pc Impact socket set for $80 vs $300. 3 pc Unibits 8 bucks vs $40... etc. Go get those Christmas presents now... that's what I emailed the kids! LOL
  3. Lloyd and I could break it on a good Temagami run... I can guarantee that!! I'd rather have a hut hull skimming a 2' slush field than skis digging in any day!
  4. Yah... that still secures your intent Randy.. and time dates it in case someone tries to screw you while in process. But still won't give you any patent rights..
  5. What do you think you can make in the long run Brian.... Kristal's pelvic exoskeleton was $3500 up front... they burned thru that at $400 to $500 an hour just to do the title search for anything existing on file.... and then asked for another $12,500 up front to TRY to get a patent.
  6. Indeed Raf... but they do build to a $ spec for each of those outfits, so I wouldn't be so sure. We actually have a... musky fishin... Johnson Control employee here.. but I doubt he'll chime in and I don't blame him !
  7. Glad to help John!
  8. This is my current ice fishing affair. 1998 Skidoo Touring 500 with a total of 2,150 miles on it so far. A very dependable sled.. so much so I tried to buy it's twin a week or so ago from someone over by Bailieboro, but it was sold before I could get there.
  9. I saw "hard to start" and then a picture of Bunk's Bravo... brought back flash backs.. lol Would that old ET not have a primer on it already??.. and if so is it toast, as was Bunks on his Bravo.
  10. I used the boat I bought from Temagami Marine, in 2004, for almost a week before signing to buy it.
  11. A bravo that doesn't start good... goes through more gas than it use to? Your primer plunger / check flapper isn't sealing off and engine is sucking fuel through it while running richening the mix.. and the primer doesn't do squat when you pump it to try and start.
  12. Slow down on the way to the fishing hole... you're not supposed to have the trailer drifting through the corners!!
  13. Cedarbrae Plaza store shows in stock... at Lawrence / Markham
  14. Roy's got a battery for it!!! LOL Everstart in stock at most Walmarts.. for $99.97 http://www.walmart.ca/en/ip/10816457-everstart-battery-maxx-75n/6000028259667
  15. This covers a fair bunch of my highschool teachers pretty well... but lets get back to creditmasters attempt to prove many of you wrong.
  16. I think you might need to read that all again Chris... If you attended MY highschool, took MY classes.. in the time period I did, you'd have no issues with what I said.
  17. Nope.. don't know you from "Peter" Landry... and sure wouldn't judge you from on OFC post. I'd have to fish with you first and see if I wanted to throw you out of the boat... lol I had about three real teachers in highschool, the rest of the "teachers" were just there because they couldn't make it in the real world and liked summers off. As for Creditmaster.. he has some serious drive and a dream... and the best school of hard knocks may very well be for him to try.. fall down and then dust himself off. I know that works pretty well...
  18. Yah... at $2200 I'd have a length of 12/2 and an electric in it's spot PDQ !
  19. Maybe his mother is the stay at home employee willing to work for free (while he's at school)... and the $50 a day will cover part of their property tax or hydro. At least the young lad has some drive and a dream! More than I can say for most these days. Glad I had a real (electricity) teacher in grade 12, that went against the grain, and told me to skip the standard protocol and follow my dreams. Ever grateful to him.
  20. I like my "both worlds" boat. Vinyl with snap in rubber backed carpet. The carpet is in all summer as it's nice on the feet. Then it gets vacuumed or power washed and left to dry (on the hangar floor). Then rolled up and stored away, for late fall Muskie fishing with vinyl floor only. Then I know I'm putting a dry boat away... when the time finally comes.
  21. Good for you creditmaster... don't EVER let anyone get in the way of your dreams. You may have to pick yourself up off the ground from time to time... but don't ever leave yourself in a position that when you're 90 and sit down one day and think.. "I wonder if" ! "The only one's that have never failed... never tried in the first place!"
  22. Make, year and model of truck and we can probably get further John! Suspect a GMC with the -75
  23. Most of the GM battery trays have a built in lock plate / tab and a bolt down lock plate. I find that most of the "jobber" batteries don't come the right width to use them anymore and you end up playing Mickey Mouse!
  24. It's just a 650 CCA battery with side terminals. (looking at it... + on the left... - on the right) I like interstates myself, and wish we hadn't lost our local dealer. Part Source has a good selection of on the shelf ready to go batteries, in various + / - terminal postions etc. The hard part is finding batteries these days that will use the GMC and such hold down clamps. Suggested retail on the MT-95 is $160.95 ! (list 180.95)
