Yah we are Tom...but my Dutch wife isn't anymore! LOL She was the "unforeseen circumstance" this morning...as I couldn't bring myself to waking her up..... with her finally getting some sleep after a week of being at St. Mike's hospital with our Daughter. I slipped out of bed and left her there to sleep. Of course now I find out from Jim up in Temagami that it's only -15C up there today. Dead Calm and sunny. Oh well, guess we'll handle it tomorrow no matter what it brings.... Ah.. the good old days...when the only concern was what beverage to put in the sled storage hole. Warm = Buck a bottle/get ya by wine Cold = JD Really cold = 151 Bacardi

Nauti...yes there are cheaper memory cards out there. Keep in mind there is a difference between a base 2G card and a 2G high speed card as well. There is also no sense buying a high speed card if the camera doesn't spec one out as a requirement. The D80 needs the HS card. The eos probably doesn't. Even places like Staples have low priced memory cards at times. I've seen 2G at $29.99 on sale.

Don't worry Remo...with a -40 to -48c wind chill warning for the North/east region tonight and -33C mornings and -20c highs right into early next week... not much chance of that. I'm thinking we might rethink this whole thing and go mid week instead when the temps look higher.

We found at Christmas, with our youngest daughter in Achitectural Engineering needing a high end camera, Nikon D80, ..as well as our 4th year New Media daughter wanting a new pocket one (Canon SD800) that Henrys did a much better job on the pricing than either Future Shop or Best Buy would do. The other plus with a place like Henrys is they sell you the SLR body and you can pick the lense you want seperately...not a package deal like future shop stuck with the prepackage lense. With the other stuff we also bought at Henrys (A540 powershot and stand alone Picturemate printer for me) at the same time we were also able to get them to throw in the 2G high speed memory card for the D80 for free ($130 value) as well as the 512kb card for my powershot.

Thanks Guys! We're in a one day delay at this point due to some unforeseen circumstances this morning. Hope to hit the highway tomorrow am now.

Hang in there Dan...looks like a "heat" wave is coming Wednesday! -
Sounds like Suds knows what the Hales going on anyhow. That's the problem with the internet..bad rumours can spread fast. Thanks for clearing things up Suds.

Marine (salt water) engines have a closed cooling system Peter....so it's not salt water in the engine..or at least it shouldn't be.

Which skill was that...stay warm by cuddling naked with the opposite sex... Thanks Maureen...I'm rarely worried about my driving..it's those around me that tend to screw up.

Sled and cutter is in the back of the truck, as well as my ice fishing gear. Leahs X-country skis and my snowshoes, with just our clothes and some food needing to be thrown in as we head out the door in the morning. Be back mid week +/-...if you don' t hear from me (wouldn't that be nice!) they're having a bit of trouble getting me out of my new boat, that's very temporarily stored in the showroom! Wayne

I have a few tricks up my sleeve! I had 14 aquariums in our 2 bedroom apt in Milton and then when we moved to a house you'd swear you walked into Aquarium services in my "furnace room" with over 30 tanks and guppy breeding ponds (1 x 6 lumber on edge to make a big box and lined with 6mil plastic vapour barrier) on the floor to feed my clown knifes in the 200 gallon tank thru the living room wall behind the bar. I breed and raised fish (Angels, various Cichlids and the rare Silver Scat occasion) that I sold to pet stores from Milton down to Oakville for spare pocket money back when. Guppies and swords as well...but most became "fish" food. The advantage of that power filter is the oxygen it's putting into the water from the "water fall". Will more than double the minnows you can have in the tank compared to stagnant water.

Great to see you had the solution right there in the fridge! LOL

They missed you so much while you were out shopping boxing day... and any other excuse to stay away from them.....now they're comin to your house!! LOL

Bill, for small fish in aquariums that I was running a power filter on...I used to use one of the plastic pint "boxes" that you'd get blueberries/strawberries/cherry tomatos in. Cut a hole just large enough to get the intake tube thru the side of it and then put the intake piece back on. The open side of the "box" goes against the glass..giving 5 sides of mesh to keep the fish well back from the intake tube.

I only see them live in the same manner Gerritt will be. Dupont and various other plastics suppliers have always been pretty good in keeping us in tickets. Ticket prices are NUTS! My son and daughter went New Years Day and son and wife a week after that. I prefer my chair and TV remote! Have fun Gerritt..and keep your eyes on the puck!

At least use the 705#. It wouldn't be fair to use the 800#

I hear yah bowshep...I think we all know the guy you talk of ! LOL Lady E takes some work to get into, by boat anyhow, but I've heard it's well worth it. Many other choices up there and lots of Crown land to camp on for free as well. Was a nice place for sale on Lady E this fall that I should have snagged..but..it's sold.

Put your sunglasses on Maureen and use the default skin. Much faster on dial up than the others!
