  1. As long as I can get this household full of young adults home on reading week to Blue Mountain...we'll be good !
  2. Thought he was supposed to "leave them on shore"...... and I'd been practicing so he didn't throw me in the river when I get there...
  3. DANG...mine was in the mail box. Guy on the cover needs to read his own moto a few more times... LOL
  4. It's everywhere Blake. Elliot Lake has no fuel at their ONE station for the whole town of 12,000. CTC's gas bar..that is of course supplied by Esso and the locals panic'd and drained the tanks. Just a well staged "problem"....
  5. Sorry to hear Julie! Lots of support here for sure and I'm sure that lad you live with will be there for you the most.
  6. Please quit...it makes Dano cry everytime she's mentioned and my shoulder just can't take it anymore!
  7. What's your point ? They only improve as they age!
  8. Welcome aboard Greg !! Now...what's wrong with being married at 20? Has worked for me so far... for 25 years!
  9. Insurance companies aren't worth calling unless u've burnt something to the ground! $1000 deductible, loss of our 15% claims free discount for 5 years minimum would = at least another $1500. Trailer isn't worth that much and I have another out in the back field that can take it's place in the spring. My main concerns are my spare Mopar parts...like complete spare NOS instrument clusters for my '69 Bee, and many parts like it.
  10. So much for my 40' storage trailer and some of it's contents. I'll have to wait to spring to see how much of my '68 to 70 MOPAR spare parts are toast. The oil furnace I had in there that I was getting around to installing in my shop, boxes of stuff from previous moves, spare old stock aircraft seats and frames etc. Looks like my aluminum bar stock and tubing survived...it's just on it's side now and a little hard to browse the shelves or to get any of it out to use. I've had the trailer beside the hangar and 8 feet out from the wall for 14 years without the snow making it that far out. Guess it got a little better run at it ths time!
  11. Thanks Dave....wondering if snowshoes might be a good idea considering this warm crap we're havin.
  12. Don't tell us toooo much...we'll get ours in a couple weeks !
  13. That was pigeontroller I believe...had his musky baits hanging above the laundry tub while his wife was out shopping....
  14. Life's full of curves for sure Lew and we both know that all tooooo well unfortunately. I know that her father will seek the utmost care for her and Sheri will recover fully in due time. As for the "point and swerve", he'll/she'll get theirs sooner or later. Just hopefully they don't kill anyone in the mean time.
  15. Really...you didn't look a day over 50 Bud ! I'll bring my two radios..
  16. Bragging rights...nothing more..nothing less! I can brag I caught the largest Walleye entered in last years tourney and Bucktail can brag he caught the largest Northern Pike...as can all the others in each fish category. Other than that, and the comradery(sp) that it brings everyone that participates in the tourney...nothing!
  17. That would sure keep you busy Julie!! Now to clarify for Shawn...is that EVERY single soldier or every SINGLE soldier..LOL
  18. That's some great stuff Drew! The chief isn't going to be too happy with the way his headdress looks now after you robbed all the good colours off it though....
  19. Yah sure Tony...that's what you told me last year! SO Fishersquige.....how was the meal ? ?
  20. Hope it works out Nemo. Last year I got my renewal in 4 days and Leah's...well we had to cancel our trip to the Caribean because her's didn't arrive 'till a week after we were to leave.
  21. I think Rick was just cleaning out those whom he'd already put on teams to start the thread fresh for newcomers. Try again UB1990 on the rules and sign up thread.
  22. YUMMMMMM Hope to see you Saturday...you can show me how to fish !
  23. I'll bring some for you, when I come to Quebec Marc! What colour do you prefer. Sonny...find the "sign up and rules" thread and reply there.
  24. I bet Martin River Lodge is in tip top shape and they'll take great care of you...as it's for sale. Bet the service is top notch as they search for a prospective buyer. Martin River is a beautiful place, but the fishin (like many places) can be tough in the summer months.
