  1. It was a great time. I had a ton of fun fishing. Congratualations to Joey. This was my second time at the event I hope to be there next year and for many years to come...
  2. The Reacon is still being sold but it'll be tough to find because retailers keep a low inventory at this time of the year. Spend $100 more and get the Commando if you can find one. It comes with a removable boat seat, better and thicker grade fabric and its a lot roomier.
  3. Just call in and if we have the product we will put it on hold for 24 hours (this does not apply for products on sale or in limited quantities). Tight lines
  4. Fireline crystal boys and gals. Crystal is super sensitive and yes I was skeptical at first thinking it would be like the other conventional braids but it does not absorb water. Obviously all lines will freeze up in the cold but with crystal its minimal.
  5. They are kinda big but you never know. If you want to get down that deep just go with a rapala tail dancer beautiful wobble action without the huge body.
  6. Nice going Stevo.....Mr. Versatility.....We'll hook up some time after when school is done.....don't forget to credit the master for those brookies lol.......
  7. Promised Land Fishing Camp is a class act operation. The cottages are very clean and they also have a nice little beach front for the kids. Claire and Frank are great hosts they treated us like their sons. As for the fishing Frank will put you on the fish. http://www.promisedlandcamp.net
  8. Just got back from an awesome weekend fishing with my cousins, friend and bro-in-law....Bassin at Rice Lake, as it should be, is on fire. I don't really know the lake to well so most of the fish we caught were around docks just flipping tubes or finesse worms on a 14 ft aluminum without the help of a trolling motor. Caught a nice lunker largie flipping a white tube under a small dock which gave me a run for my money with actually wrapping the line around the docks support bars lol after a nice fight finally managed to get him out thank god for Power Pro. What a beauty it was weighed 4.3 lbs on the lip grip, took a photo and released gave me a nice splash and off it went. I will post that photo later because my cousin has it. We also caught a tone of crappie and bluegill. I am not a big fan of eating largmouth just because I like to fish them for sport not for eating but we kept a couple for the pan and fried them up and surprisingly they have a great taste to them. But here are a few pics from the trip. My cousin with his actual first bucket mouth in 7 years. Fish ready to be cleaned and fried mmm.
  9. Yep yep you got that right about Jay and lol the big pike weren't caught by me lol thats why but nevertheless I should have taken those pics.
  10. I finally got to go out after about a month of non-fishing, almost getting cabin fever lol. I don't get the oppurtunity to go to Nippising all that often so it was something that I thoroughly enjoyed. It was nice to get out with my buddy from BPS again along with one of his buddies. The weather was spectacular but the fishing was slow. It was slow for every person at camp. But we managed to salvage the week on Saturday (the last day of the trip) catching numerous walleye and a bunch of big pike(sorry no pics of them). Here are a couple pics. Ain't Nippising beautiful The elusive Gar Pike making the whole trip worth while. Mmm finally some walleye. A pic of me with a beautiful golden 3 pounder live released to be caught another day. All in all a beautiful trip and it was nice to get out.
